GOOD BYE HANAU HIGH

On June 5th, Hanau High School closed its doors forever. We'll miss you, old friend, but like we have done for so many years, will remember you fondly. We cherish the time we spent "embraced" in your nurturing arms.

Thank you to all of the faculty, who became our friends and who guided us through some of the most difficult years of our lives. Thank you to all of the Administrators and Staff who, on more than one occasion, told us where to go and then sent us in the right direction. Thank you to our parents, who we hated for getting shipped to "such a horrible place" and then loved for dragging us along.

Dear Hanau, thank you for all the experiences we shared, that we would not have been able to get had we not graced your "hallowed halls". You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten. You touched our hearts, minds and souls and we will always and forever be.........

Have you ever wanted to be able to be able to buy T-shirts, sweatshirts or any other "Spirit" paraphernalia from Hanau like you can from other school's, colleges and universities? Have you ever felt cheated, because as Military Brats we've never had a place to go to be able to get such items? Well........... NO MORE.

The company is owned and operated by his girlfriend, Shauna Detherage. Many thanks to Bobby for the great idea and a super thanks to Shauna for finally giving us a place to go! Shauna is interested in working with other school's so if you are in contact with other Alumni groups please feel free to pass along my contact information so we can get them together with each other.

I apologize, in advance, to EVERYONE who sends in Directory information, if it doesn't get posted right away. I've heard through the grapevine that some people who send in their information are a little upset because it may take several weeks before their information is added/updated. I have no excuse, except to say as much as I love working on the Alumni site it IS a hobby for me and unfortunately work and home stuff take precedence over pretty much everything. All I can do is ask for your patience and understanding. I squeeze in the updates/additions every chance I get. Please don't give up on me and keep those updates coming!
