It nestles in the hills, the spot I love,
A cool green woodland 'neath the blue above,
A lake all starry on a summer night
The spot I picture over with delight.
The things I love the best in life are there
Watched o'er by guardian angel's loving care,
My boyhood dreams come back again to me
Tis there at dear ONOTA I would be.
'Twas there I found a life of rare content
And learned what love and friendship really meant,
Whenever I am lonely or feel blue
Onota Camp in dreams I'll come to you.
