SPQR Chapter 1 Spoilarius

For the map, look here.
  1. Grab Verania's scroll at the first screen; turn left.
  2. Head to the Wine Shop, where the lamp is. Go upstairs, cross the room, then grab Lucius's scroll.
  3. Come downstairs, turn right, cross wine shop to the table, pay Lucius 250 sestertii, and get the yellow key from the table. Leave the wine shop.
  4. Cross to the Tullianum; go inside and walk downstairs until you're squared up in the hallway. Turn right, open the cell door, and get the green key from the corpse. Go up the way you came and leave the Tullianum. Turn right.
  5. Turn right once more and walk up the first flight of the Stair of Sighs (Scalae Gemoniae). Turn left, step forward, turn right, go in the door. Go up the flight of stairs, turn right and right again, walk out the door, turn right. Go forward one step, turn right, go into Gordian's office and get his scroll. Turn back and go out into the hallway, turn left, go to the end and hop off, down onto the Stair of Sighs. Run down the stairs, until you're at the Forum ground level.
  6. Turn right, go up the stairs of the Temple of Saturn, and get Sibyl's scroll.
  7. Go back down the stairs, turn right, and right again. You'll see the steps to the Temple, and the lamppost to the left. Click on the wall between the lamppost and the staircase. You should now be looking under the steps. Click on the lock of the door so that it opens with your green key.
  8. Go to the strongbox. The combination is CXCV.

Wondering about the combination?
Here is the solution, worked through by Maximius Flavius.
If you look at this screen of the game, you'll see the important clue from Gordian's office scrolls. "Hmmm, lets see, How many dinarii will it cost me to clean the front columns of the Temple of Divine Julius at CXLIV sestertii each... minus my usual discount... plus VIII for tips..."
Considering that we're only working with the front columns of the temple and not all the columns on the temple's porch, it comes out to:
144 X 6 = 864      144 per column
864 ÷ 4 = 216      To convert the sestertii into denarii
216 - 29 = 187     Minus Gordian's discount in denarii
187 + 8 = 195      Plus Gordian's tips
Which, in Roman numerals, is CXCV. 1
