You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid. Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
.:Matthew 5:14-17:.

Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
.:1 Timothy 4:12:.

"With the help of Christ and his Church, you will develop each day into men and women who are free and responsible for their own lives, actively involved in the life of their Church, in strengthening relationships between their religious and social communities, and in building an ever more just and fraternal society"

-Pope John Paul II, (Address at the Youth Meeting at the Greek-Catholic Cathedral-Damascus)

As youth we are only a piece of the Churchs present, but the totality of her future. No longer content to wait for something to happen, we are prepared to become active in the church and to seek out an adequate and appropriate ministry for our age group. Such a task is large and requires much work, prayer, and cooperation between both laity and clergy, but it can be accomplished. We encourage everyone to become involved, and for this site to be the focal point.

Email us your suggestions (we also have a guestbook link below), questions, or pass onto us any cool info regarding youth and young adult ministry within the Byzantine Catholic Churches here in the U.S.

Also, via email (or MS Word or Notepad format in an attachment) you can send us articles written to, for, and by youth or young adults.
