action: unexpected performances of cheerleading whilst using political
cheers (and sometimes dressed casually)
place: demonstrations, concerts and festivals, in the middle
of the street, etc.
goal: to confuse innocent bystanders whilst having fun
and having our say!
This shows the radical cheerleaders of Bunnies on Strike protesting 22/3 '03.
Right now there are five of us who are regulary practising cheers and writing new ones: Tanja,
Sanne,
Reinco,
Daniel en Maaike And more people have joined the team!
Here is Sanne, Daniel, Reinco and their friends doing spontaneous radical cheerleading in Belgium at
a protest against the current way of Globalisation.
It was a good way to stay warm. Here the cheer 'Pompons, not Bombs!' was born.
