The BSAACT as a long and rich history of cuesport competition in Canberra and surrounding districts.
The Billiards and Snooker Association of the ACT (Inc) was formed in 1948 as the Canberra Amateur Billiards Association by a group of enthusiasts from the ACT Fire Brigade and ACT Transport. It has organised cuesport competitions and championships each year since that date, and continues the tradition today.
We welcome women into our sport and actively promote their participation in our competitions.
The BSAACT was affiliated with the Australian Billiards and Snooker Council in 1985, and they, in turn, are affiliated with the International Billiards and Snooker Federation; the world governing body for Billiards and Snooker.
