The BBFA was established January 1st 2002 with one simple objective - to support the interests of British Boxing Fans. We aim to keep fans updated of all the events and developments in the boxing world. Our regular E-Letter will contain details of boxing promotions at local UK venues as well as all the the info on British/Commonwealth/European & World title fights in the UK & abroad.
Whilst we all enjoy watching world title fights, the true boxing fans also enjoy the local hall fights that bring forth the champions of tomorrow. The British media tends to focus purely on the major events and ignore what is happening in the small halls & gyms across the UK. And yet, without the ongoing support of ardent boxing fans, the careers of Naseem Hamed, Ricky Hatton, Joe Calzaghe and other stars of the ring would never hit the national headlines.
