Sars might have cancelled the formal Singapore Dragon
Boat regatta for 2003 but that did not stop the international expat
teams from holding their own mini regatta in June 2003. Great turn
out from all the teams which, as well as the Brits, included the Canadians,
Australians, Japanese, Germans and HK Kowloon. Our team entered 4
boats (2 mixed boats, 1 womens and 1 men's boat). Considering that
for alot of our team this was their first race we did a great job
and certainly gave the other teams a run for their money. Congratulations
to the mixed boat that won a bronze medal.
