Welcome to the Cake Contest, the Cake Contest is a competition created especially for unique and outstanding wedding cakes. Each month a new Cake of the Month* & a 'runner up' which we call our Tasty Mentions is awarded. Submit your cake today. The First Annual Cake Contest will launch in December 2001. Until then, contestants can apply to win the Cake of the Month Award. The Cake of the Month winners will be voted on at the end of the year (in 2001) to win the "Best Cake of the Year" award. So, if you think your wedding cake has what it takes... apply today!

Every contest must have rules, but these are simple. We want a picture of your wedding cake or groom's cake. Any picture of your wedding cake will do. If it's a picture of feeding, eating, or smashing the cake, that's great, as long as we can see the whole cake! Please make sure your photos can be used by the contest coordinators for promotional purposes. We don't want professional cake designers here--give the little bakers a chance!

Please enter the Cake of the Month contest only once every three months. Winners will receive an award to put on their website. Please link the award back to the Cake Contest. We will archive the winners each month. Unfortunately there are only 12 months in a year therefore not every cake entered wins. Tasty Mentions has been created for the "best of the rest" . Well, what are you waiting for! Dig out those yummy pictures and apply. Good luck and to those who win, "Let them eat cake"!
