December 27, 2005 Happy Hollidays To ALL! PBT lead vocals for the album are finished and tonight we begin the backing vocals. woo haa !! Progress! No new news to report on. No shows yet for 06' yet... but we have some up our sleeves. Once they are set in stone we will let all you bitches know!

December 3, 2005 Howdy Everyone. Studio Monday and Wednesday and Vocals will be done! We have a proposed Album Title! The new album may be called ... To make a short story long. Like it? Hate it? Express how you feel on our my space page on our fresh new album blog. Starting to book shows again look out for us comming up in jan, feb and an album release in march. We will also be doing some acoustic shows over the course of the next few months. Stay tunned!!
NOVEMBER 24, 2005 HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!! We have been recieving everyones letters and email. In response to your PLea's We will try to keep Clay away from eating too much but its not easy holding the Big Fellow back when he is staring at a 20 lb. turkey (cooked or uncooked). Thanks to all for kepping this little ghetto page alive by hitting up the guestbook. I know I have been slacking with the updates. Just been busy with the studio and all. I promise to make more of an effort this time. Studio is going great! It apears many people still dont know about the name change. HELP US!!!!!!! Spread the word tell everyone you know. We look forward to seeing all of you on the 15th at the MOJO we need your support. If transportation to the show is a problem hit one of us up. WE Will HELP!
Septmeber 18, 2005 - GREAT!! Shows this weekend! Great turnouts, causes, and VICTORY! First lets start off with the Mojo show. Battle of the Bands that benifits the Best Buddies program. Big ups to NAVAR, The kennedy Years, Minus One, and living for today for banging out awesome sets. The result of the show is a PAPERBACK TRAGEDY VICTORY! Thanks to all our peeps for comming out and supporting us. And remember the Battle of the Bands Finals will be on Dec. 15. And then there was the Underground Live in the park show witch also boasted some awesome talent and killer music. The first time we ever saw Number and cascade in blue both are a must see. Special thanks in both shows go to Suzanne and Erica (the mojo) and of course Ms. Carla and her wonderfull staff ( the underground) Oce again thanks for keeping posted and hit up that guestbook!
Septmeber 2, 2005 - Late Studio night thursday but much progress was made. 3 more studio dates are inked The 10th, 20th and 22nd. Were gonna take a week off from the studio the week of the 15 to prepare for the shows at the mojo and the concerts in the park. Clay is Fat. We still need ideas for the album title so hit up the my space page if you have any! C ya later aligators!
August 31, 2005 - Studio Thursday to begin work on Vocals. WOOO HAAAA!. Were gonna sing soooo purdy! This news just in : Paperback Tragedy will be featured in a compilation thats being put together by the Infamous ... UNDERGROUND! We will give more info when we get it but the Release for the Comp. CD is sometime in the spring of 2006. The song selected for this comp. will be one that is on no other album!! Well thats about all I have for tonight! AUGUST 27, 2005 - Greetings Friends, Family and Cartoons. We have been getting alot of questions from alot of people about alot of things. We gonna answer a few:
1. Why did you change your band name?
We felt the name Brat didn't give a good enough representation of us and our style. If you never heard us or heard Brat you would check us out expecting to hear a 14 year old girl punk band. And even though Will does sing like a girl we are all not 14!
2. Will you still be playing Brat songs at your shows?
Of course. These are not just Brat songs they are our songs : ).
3. When is the next show?
Sept. 15 2005 at the Mojo. Check out myspace.com/paperbacktragedy rocks for more details.
4. How much does Clay weigh?
586 lbs.
5. When will the Album be finished and released?
We guestimate finishing the album by the begining of October but the release date will not be until sometime mid December.
6. Where will the record release be?
Either The Recher Theatre or The Sonar.
AUGUST 26, 2005 - WOW! Updated news on a website thats not a myspace page! This will be your up to the minute 411 on Will West, Frogg, Clay and C-Lunch.
