Established in 1985, the Brandon Kennel Club is a non profit
organization whose mission is to further the advancement of all
breeds of pure bred dogs. Brandon, Mississippi, is located about 10
miles east of Jackson, the state capitol.
Club meetings are held at
6:00 PM on the second Wednesday of each month. Visitors are

The Brandon Kennel Club
holds two American Kennel Club championship point shows, and
obedience trials each year, along with a match show, conformation
training classes, and other activities. Beginning in 2004, BKC will
hold its shows in conjunction with Mississippi State Kennel Club .
