Welcome to Braeview House Bed and Breakfast.

Braeview house was named for the following reasons "brae" because we are situated on a brae in the heart of Monaghan and "view" for the beautiful  scenic view we have to offer from our premises.

We are situated overlooking the N2, Dublin/Derry road.  We pride ourselves in our peaceful tranquillity setting.  Just get away for it all and enjoy the clean country air in this unspoiled country side in County Monaghan.  We are Bord Failte approved and get many repeat business from our customers who love the peacefulness and scenic area, just 5mins drive from Carrickmacross town and 10mins drive to Castleblayney town.

We are central to all major fishing lakes and offer information on premises of best lakes to fish in, and advise on local tackle available.  Premises include fishing facilities and fridge.

Advise on best places to eat out and interesting places in the area to visit.

Braeview House is a non-smoking house and we offer  breakfast Menu and early breakfasts to fisher men and guests that need to travel to the Airport early.
