Course Details

MAIL REGISTRATION - Register by mail to ensure class placement. Use the registration form. Checks should be made payable to BRADFORD AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT and mailed with the completed form to: Robert Ferguson, Director of Continuing Education, 76 School Street, Bradford, PA 16701. You are automatically enrolled unless otherwise notified and are expected to report to your first class.

IN-PERSON REGISTRATION - You may register for evening classes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings (September 15, 16, 17) from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Bradford Area High School office.

LATE IN-PERSON REGISTRATION - You may register for any evening class on site the first night of the course.  Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.  Class placement cannot be guaranteed if you register late.

ELIGIBILITY - You must be 18 years of age or over to pparticipate.

PARKING - Please use the school parking areas only.  The front doors of the high school are locked. Back entrance must be used to enter the building.

MATERIAL FEES - Certain courses require additional fees as indicated in the course description. This fee is to be paid to the instructor.

CLASS SIZE - Class size is at the discretion of the Director.

GIFT CERTIFICATES - If you would like to purchase a gift certificate for someone to attend a program or class, please email the director at rferguson@bradfordareaschools.org.

SMOKING REGULATIONS - Smoking is not permitted anywhere on school grounds.

CLASS CANCELLATIONS AND SCHOOL CLOSINGS - Whenever the Bradford Area Public Schools are closed for school holidays, inclement weather, etc., the School of Continuing Education will not meet. Announcements will be made over the local radio stations. If a one-night class is cancelled because of weather, it will be re-scheduled. It is the instructor's responsibility to notify you if he/she will not have class due to illness or an emergency situation. It is suggested that the instructor and students exchange phone numbers and email addresses.

SENIOR CITIZENS - Residents of the school district, age 622 and older, are invited to participate for half price except for special offerings. Proof of age is required.

REFUNDS - Class cancelled by the School: 100% refund. Student withdrawal prior to first meeting: 100% refund less a $5 non-refundable registration fee. Any refund after a class has started will be at the discretion of the Continuing Education Office.

The School of Continuing Education assumes no responsibility for any injury incurred from participation in any class. Registrants are advised to check with their physicians should there be any questions as to their ability to participate in any specific activity.
