That was in the early 1980's, and the song was called "Willing." It was written and sung by Nancy Grandquist. I discovered as a young Christian, that her keyboard-based music works its way into your heart and won't let go. Today, Nancy Grandquist has been writing and singing for more than 25 years.

Some consider her one of the pioneers of Jesus Music, but she is still making music. Her songs have been recorded by Tanya Goodman Sykes, Larnelle Harris, Helen Baylor, The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Christ Church Choir, Stormie Omartian, Babbie Mason, Truth, Nor Cal Mass Choir, JCM Mass Choir, CLC Mass Choir and the list goes on and on. Former President Bill Clinton specifically requested her song, "The Prayer Chorus" to be sung at the 1992 inaugural prayer breakfast.

Nancy Grandquist has performed around the world. If you ever get the opportunity to hear this United Pentecostal Church Pastor's wife and mother--who resides in Mountain View California--I would encourage you not to miss this enthusiastic, exuberant, thankful lady.
