A Sunday afternoon of live music for waltzing with occasional other couple dances! This series duplicates the Mostly Waltz afternoons held in other cities across North America. A variety of waltz tunes and tempos will be played, and every third number will be a different couple dance — polka, hambo, schottis, swing, tango, one-step, zwiefacher, etc.

Special waltz workshops We are also holding three workshops: Saturday, October 25, 2008 - Cross Step Waltz workshop by Susan de Guardiola Saturday, November 22, 2008 - Basic rotary waltz workshop by Helen Silver Saturday, February 7, 2009 - Cross Step Waltz workshop by Susan de Guardiola All the workshops will be at Springstep, 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. There will be basic rotary waltz instruction from 2:15 pm to 3:00 pm, followed by wonderful live music for dancing until 5:30 pm.
Please bring clean shoes, ideally leather-soled, to make turning easier and to protect the floor.
