This group is for born again christians who are struggling with being gay and christian.
(It was deliberately placed in the adult section of yahoo..and youll know why) Our sexuality is given to us, and we must praise the lord for it.
Welcome home to all christians whom, like me have struggled with sexuality and belonging also to our Heavenly Father through the blood of the Lord Jesus. (The Lord IS our shepherd) For thirty eight years I suffered too, with all the rebukes and trials of my brethren (casting out "my demons" and praying for "my healing". This group is started after my realisation that to be homosexual is not at odds with loving our Lord, but should be accepted as "God given", and to deny our sexuality is to throw it into the face of our Father in heaven. Although we as Christians are under grace through the blood of Jesus, and not the old law of the commandments (which he has fullfilled in us by the Holy spirits presence), nevertheless remember this one thing. That there is NO commandment (of the ten)that condemns us, and Jesus said not one word about homosexuals apart from telling the Centurian that his faith had saved the life of his beloved slave. Jesus,being the author of our faith and the new covenant would certainly have told us if he thought that we were an "abomination". It was Pauls various letters to the churches that "appear" to condemn us, and other old testament writings, which being translated correctly do NOT indicate that they refer to homosexuals. |

PLEASE NOTE...that although anyone can join us if they are honestly seeking to meet Jesus as their Saviour....it is essentially a group for the already converted who are in pain through rejection by their peers, and need support and fellowship.This issue is too important to have to start entering into arguments with non believers, so if you have heard the gospel,and rejected Jesus this isn't the place for you...sorry. This is also not the place for "well meaning" heterosexual Christians to come and offer "healings" from homosexuality... it was this that caused me to have a nervous breakdown (and many others too), so please if you come here, come with a thirst for the truth, in the spirit of reasoning, and the will to observe the Lord's all encompasing love.
