Memory Lane Webring

This webring started as an fleeting thought one night before I went to bed. Since I started blogging I've come in contact with many people traveling through the same vapid fog that I've been trying hard to see through. Alzheimer's Disease affects not only the patient but the surrounding family as well. It's a slow and tragic endgame that makes me think of the slogan from the movie Jarhead: "Welcome to the Suck". I can't get more brutally raw than that. My thoughts and hopes for the Memory Lane webring will hopefully be realized in the not too distant future. If you found this website via a search engine, please feel free to pass the link on to anyone you know that is affected by the disease. Not only will the many links here prove be a valuable resource to those just beginning the long journey down Dementia Alley but they will also be an online form of therapy for those in search of some understanding and much needed solace.
