Lynn Jeffcott: On How To Publish A Book

picture

Dear Visitor,

Hello and welcome to my website!

When Don't Be Afraid of the Storm came
out, people asked me, "How did you get your
book published?" Most were people with a lifetime of experiences
written on their hearts and beautiful ideas to share. They wanted
to know how to navigate in the world of publishing. I decided the
best way to help them was to create a website designed to answer
all of their questions.

And here it is--in basic format--everything you need to know to
get a book published, from contacting editors to submitting
manuscripts. Even better, I carefully chose only the most important
details, assembling them in an easy, step-by-step tutorial for those
who have a book inside just waiting to get out.

The information out there on the publishing business is complicated
and often conflicting. As a fledgling, I didn't know which way to
turn. I didn't expect to be handed the secret key to success. All
I really wanted back then was to find someone who knew the
terrain and ask what he learned.

Since no one was there to give me direction, I'd like to offer
assistance to anyone looking for a guide. In the years I traveled
the long writer's road, using my pencil as a walking stick, I
learned a thing or two. I certainly discovered where the potholes were.

As time goes on, I will be adding more pages about writing,
publishing and authorship. In the meantime, please let me know
what additional information you might find helpful to your journey.

Thank you for visiting!

With warmest wishes,

Lynn
