I no longer breed or show Maine Coon cats, though my daughter continues to do so at www.bonfirecats.net . I still help her out at times but this website is about my own little "Hairy Tribe" and the strange things they do. They keep me entertained and they keep me wondering if this is the way cats behave on their home planet. The current members of my tribe are:

Garage Kitty strolled out of the woods one day and decided she'd stay. She camped out on my work bench and called it home. She hates it in the house and loudly sings kitty opera until we let her back out. So we provided her with an insulated igloo and she's happy. But I can't do any woodworking.
