The Truth
My name is Bobby F. Cherry and I am a political prisoner in the state of Alabama.
I am serving four life sentences for a crime I did not commit.
During my trial, the prosecution claimed I assaulted Reverend Fred Shuttleworth, which is not true.
The prosecution, in court visually displayed a blown up picture of Mr.Shuttleworth being assaulted on screen situated around the courtroom.
The proscution then pointed to the back of someones head and said there's your proof, that's Bobby F.Cherry.
When in fact William Hurshall Cash---J.E. Breckenridge---I.F. Gauldin---Ralph W. Lewindowski--- Jerry Dutton ---and Dr.Edward Fields were arrested and indicted for the assault with intent to murder. I.F. Gauldin was carrying a 2 ft. length of chain with a leather handle.

Dan Moore was a Deputy Marshal who received a suspicious warning of upcoming events the morning of the bombing, yet his words fell on deaf ears.
Former Deputy Marshal Dan Moore remembered being called to protect the federal offices at the post office building just 4 hours before the explosion, because his superiors were expecting riots soon. For details regarding his statement and more, click on the link to the left.
INJUSTICE CONTINUES...
It has been 8 months since my conviction on May 22, 2002. To date, the State of Alabama has refused to release the transcripts of my trial to my attorneys. IF transcripts are released within 2 to 6 months of a trial, I do not understand WHY the state continues to withold these transcripts from the public, other than to OBSTRUCT MY APPEAL!!!
Feb. 24th.2003 we were told the transcripts of my trial were available.It only took 9 months .... my attorney may be able to move forward now.
The below statements, without reason, was not permitted to be used as evidence during my trial:
"I Flora Thomas, do here by swear that on Saturday, Septrmber fourteenth and Sunday, September fifteenth of 1963, I stayed at the home of Bobby Frank Cherry... He was home at ten o'clock Saturday night...Bobby never left the house. This is my sworn affidavit and solemn oath.

Mrs . Virginia Cherry ,ee Wood, 2412 Avenue I North. advised she recalls that on the Sunday of the bombing of the 16th. St. Baptist Church, she and her husband slept late. She recalls they did not get up until somewhere between 10:00 And 10:30 a.m. She recalls hearing a news flash on television that morning,saying that a special bulletin would be shown at 11:15 a.m. She recalls her husband left prior to the special bulletin and she believes he left prior to that time to go to the Modern Sign Company to help a man there. She does not recall his name. She believes her husband was at home on Saturday evening
Mrs. Cherry further advised that on the evening of September 24, 1963 her husband was at home the entire evening She recalls this evening particularly well because the next day September 25 ,1963 , they had an appointment to take their baby to the State Children"s Clinic at 8:00 a.m.
She further advised that her husband until about 2 weeks before had worn a brace because of a broken back. She stated he, therefore has been around the house most of the timefor the past several months. She stated he does go out during the evening on occasion,stateing he usuall goes out around 7:00 and will come in around 10:30 or 11:00 p.m.
She guessed he went out as often as every other or every third night.
There are dates at the bottom of the page that I don't understand. It's dated 10/8/63 at Birmingham signed by special agents C.J.Welton and Joseph P. Ayers-mlc thereis also another date of Oct.24,1963
