| 2008 QUALIFIER COMPLETE !!!!! |

| The 2008 Keystone qualifier weekend has come and gone. Our moto counts were in the 40's each day, but the temperature and humidity were more than double that!!! It was a great weekend, with close racing in most of the classes. Off the track, there was the usual raffles, concession stand and a chinese auction. The lone bike vendor was Westmoreland Bike Supply, who was here for Saturday's race. Although our commissioner and wife were unable to attend this qualifier due to a commitment to the NBL, our assistant commissioner Pete Dawson and the rest of the Keystone BMX crew stepped it up and pulled off the race without a hitch. Things ran smoothly and on time, and we thank them for a job well done!!! Thanks also go out to the local volunteers, who worked non-stop through less than favorable weather conditions to help make the weekend successful!!! |

| The Keystone BMX Series will be moving on to Johnstown BMX during the 4th of July Weekend, but the BMX action at Drake Well will be continuing on Sunday, June 15 with our regular race schedule. It will be Father's Day. What better way to celebrate the day than to bring your Dad out to the track to watch you race!!! Registration will be from 1:30 - 2:30 Racing begins at 3:00 See you there!!! |
