Meanwhile, Chad and Whitney revel in the aftermath of their love making. They are unaware that Simone and Kay are outside of the door! Kay lets Simone know that something is going on in that room, and as Simone is about to go in and catch them together, Liz shows up and stops her by talking to her. Liz learns that Simone thinks Chad is her boyfriend, and she opens the door to see what Whitney is up to and is shocked by what she sees. Whitney is in bed alone, Chad is nowhere to be found. Simone apologizes for waking Whitney up, she didn’t know she would be asleep so soon. Kay tells Whitney that she shouldn’t sleep with so many candles lit. Whitney says she was just trying to get some rest before her tournament. Liz sees Chad under the bed, and gets Simone and Kay out of the room by asking them to get her other suitcase which is outside. Whitney and Chad thank Liz, and ask her not to say a word. She says it will be their little secret. Meanwhile, Simone and Kay run into Chad outside, and he says he was just stopping by. Simone decides to fix them a snack. Kay thinks something is going on, and she is determined to find out what. Kay tells Simone that she thinks Chad and Whitney were just together, but Simone says no! Meanwhile, Whitney goes to see chad in order to say a proper goodbye to him. He doesn’t like this sneaking around, but she says once she wins the tournaments, and he convinces Simone they are wrong for one another, then they can be together. They are unaware that Simone and Kay have been spying on them.
Elsewhere, Eve goes to confront Liz. Liz tells Eve that she just talked to her girls, and she thinks they will need her to talk to because she knows a little bit more about her girls than even she does! Eve warns her to stay away from her girls and her husband. Liz assures her that she and TC did nothing wrong, not every woman is a tramp like her! Liz then shocks Eve with a suitcase full of evidence on her, including Eve’s birth certificate, high school diploma, and an album she made! Liz says she has been waiting twenty years for this, and she will take full advantage of the situation! Eve warns her to stay away from her family, but Liz says she can’t do a damn thing! Liz says she will make her suffer just the way she suffered, and she will take her happiness away from her! As they argue, TC finds them together. Liz says she is still having trouble sleeping, and she was having a chat with Eve. TC asks Liz what she is holding in her hands? In her hands is the evidence Liz and Eve were fighting over!
At the mansion, Antonio walks in and catches Luis and Sheridan doing the tango! He asks what is going on here? Luis says he can explain, but Antonio says he sees exactly what is going on. Antonio thinks Luis was just trying to distract Sheridan and to keep her from thinking about him and his condition. Luis decides to leave, and Sheridan runs after him to give him his jacket. They decide to tell Antonio right away, and Luis says that he will get everyone together to tell him the truth. Sheridan and Antonio head to the cottage and Sheridan has Antonio make them some tea while she gets in the shower. Unfortunately Antonio has other plans and gets in the shower with her! Sheridan quickly gets out, and Antonio wonders how he will tell Sheridan the truth, that he will die sooner than expected. Antonio gets out of the shower and tells Sheridan that she seems distracted, and he thinks he knows why. He says they should sit down and have a talk. He tells her how important she is to her, and how much he loves her, and that he’s going to make every second they have left worthwhile. Sheridan begins to cry, and he tells her not to. He goes to get some wine so they can relax, and Sheridan calls Luis. She doesn’t want to tell Antonio tonight, and has to hang up when Antonio returns. He brings her some wine, and thanks her for bringing happiness to his life. He also tells her that he would rather die than lose her!
At the Wallace’s, Beth takes care of her mother, who continues to tell Beth that she has lost Luis forever! As they argue, Luis shows up at Beth’s door. Luis tells Beth that they are going to tell Antonio the truth, and he wants her to be there when they break the news to him. Beth is shocked to learn that he and Sheridan are back together again and have decided to finally tell Antonio the truth. Luis gets Sheridan’s call, and she says she can’t do this to Antonio, not tonight! Luis doesn’t understand, so Sheridan tells him what just happened. Luis says he knows she still cares about Antonio, but they have to tell them the truth. Luis says if he finds out on his own it will be even worse. Sheridan has to hang up when Antonio returns. Beth tries to make Luis see that Sheridan could be right, but Mrs. Wallace says they need to go over there and tell Antonio the truth tonight! Luis thinks Mrs. Wallace is right, and the truth must come out tonight in spite of Sheridan’s fears. Luis thinks Antonio will be fine if this is done the right way, and he will take the burden of telling Antonio the truth from Sheridan. Luis leaves, and MRs. Wallace tells Beth that she loses again. Beth has had it and tells her mother that she is a nasty old bitch and he’s going to kill her!
Ethan continues to think about whom to propose to as Gwen and Theresa watch him. Ethan finally heads inside, and both Theresa and Gwen wait for him to come to their rooms. Ethan knocks on one of their doors and asks to talk. It turns out that he has come to Theresa’s room! Gwen and Rebecca realize Ethan has knocked on Theresa’s door, and they go to spy on them. Gwen fears that Ethan has chosen Theresa, and that she has lost him. Gwen says she can’t stay here anymore and she decides to pack and leave. Meanwhile, Theresa is a nervous wreck as she waits for Ethan to ask her what he wants to ask her. Theresa decides to put her baby down, and as she is doing so, she sees Ethan pull out the ring! In her room, Gwen tells her mom that she’s sick of putting her life on hold for Ethan. She says she is moving on, and calls her friend Sheila and takes a job in New York.
Pilar prays to God in church for her son Antonio, and to help Luis make the right choice. Luis finds his mom and says he is sorry, but tonight one of her children could die. Luis says they have decided to tell Antonio tonight. Pilar says Antonio will die soon, and if he could just die knowing Sheridan loves him. Luis says Antonio could continue to live for months, and Sheridan can’t keep putting him off. He says Sheridan is dying inside, so Antonio must be told. Luis says they have decided to have an intervention; they will get everyone who loves him around him when they tell him. He says Sheridan doesn’t know yet, he didn’t want her to have to make this decision so he did. He asks Pilar to go to the cottage and tell her about the plan. Pilar agrees and just prays her son is still alive tomorrow. Luis leaves, and Pilar says another quick prayer to the statue of Mary. After Pilar leaves, we see that the statue is crying.
At the Russell’s, Eve stops TC from looking at Liz’ pictures because she says they are private. Liz insists TC look at the photos, and hands over the suitcase to him. TC takes them into his room, and Liz tells Eve that her life is over. Liz and Eve run into the room, Eve tries to stop him, but Liz insists he look at just one set for tonight. TC looks at them, and is shocked. The pictures turn out to be of Liz’ hotel. Liz ends up telling “Evie” that she’s not off the hook yet, and then she decides to show him some photos of Liz and Eve when they were little! However, before she can, Luis shows up! Luis tells Liz and Eve that they are telling Antonio the truth tonight, and he wants them to be there for him. Liz says no way, the shock could kill Antonio! Eve sees how upset Liz gets at the thought of Antonio dying. TC thinks that this will make things worse and humiliate Antonio, but Luis says he’ll be more humiliated if he finds out they’ve all been lying to him. Liz begs him to think this over, but Luis says this must be done. TC wants to be there too, so they all agree to go to the Crane mansion. Luis leaves, and TC leaves to get dressed. Eve asks Liz if she is in love with Antonio. She says yes, and she says they were lovers. Eve asks her why they didn’t get married? Liz says it is because of her, she couldn’t marry Antonio because of her! Liz says she was never able to open up and trust Antonio enough because of what she did to her, and she lost Antonio because of it! Eve says she is so sorry, but Liz says sorry doesn’t cover it!
At the Wallace’s, Beth goes after her mom with a nail file, so her mom hides in the closet. Beth then grabs an axe and chops down the door! Mrs. Wallace screams as Beth looks through the hole in the door and says “Here’s Bethy!” Before Beth can kill her mom, Luis shows up. Beth hides the hole in the door with a coat and tells her mom not to say a word! Beth lets Luis in and asks her why she’s not on the way to the Crane estate? Is something wrong? Beth says no, and he can go with her. Mrs. Wallace insists she come to, and suggests he get her coat! Beth axes her mother what she thinks she is doing! Beth’s mom says she’s stopping her from ruining Luis’ life.
At the cottage, Antonio tells Sheridan that she is the love of his life, and he thanks God for putting her in his life, even if it is for such a short time. He tells her how much he means to her, and how he doesn’t know what he’d do if he lost her. Antonio hugs Sheridan, and has another head pain. He leaves to get them some more wine, and obviously his pains are increasing in frequency. Meanwhile, Pilar shows up and passes on Luis’ message. Sheridan says she is against this, which is why Pilar says Luis has taken the pressure off of her. Antonio returns and asks his mom to join them for some wine, but she says no. Pilar tells Antonio that Luis wants them to all meet him at the mansion.
Everyone, but Antonio, gathers at the mansion. Sheridan says this is the wrong thing to do, but Luis says they must do this. Eve tells them all that they should be prepared for what this could do to Antonio. Sheridan begs Luis not to do this, but he says they have to tell Antonio the truth. Antonio shows up and wonders what is going on here, why is everyone here. Luis tells Antonio that there is something important they have to tell him.
In Theresa’s room, Theresa puts her baby down and sees Ethan with the engagement ring. She says he hasn’t given it to Gwen yet. He says no, and she asks him why not? Ethan says he doesn’t want to make a mistake and propose to the wrong woman. Theresa asks him if Gwen is not the right woman? Ethan says it is more complicated. He tells her that she knows how he feels about honesty and trust, and he trusts Gwen completely. Theresa knows he doesn’t think he can get that from her, and she was foolish to get her hopes up. Gwen and Rebecca spy, and Gwen begins to think she has chosen him. Theresa tells Ethan that after all they have been through, she can’t be honest with him. Ethan says he doesn’t understand? Theresa says he is the best and deserves the best. She says she tried really hard, she made all these resolutions, but she ended up breaking them out of fear of losing him. She says she lied, she knew he didn’t give Gwen the engagement ring. She says she doesn’t know why she lies to him, he is the one person in this world she can’t be open and honest with, and she knows how much he hates that in her. Theresa says she always thought she was lying to him for good reasons, but the one thing she never lied about was that she loved him. She knows he will be happy with Gwen, and she hopes he can just find it in her heart to forgive her and remain friends with her. Ethan realizes that Theresa would do anything for him, including sacrificing her own life. Ethan tells her that it took a lot for her to just bare her soul to him, and that means a lot to him. Ethan says this is a step in the right direction, and he is closer to trusting her than he has ever been. Theresa hopes things will work out for them, and Ethan says he thinks they will because he is here talking to her and not to Gwen. Theresa says she doesn’t want to be pushy, but has he decided who to marry? Ethan says he has.
Out in the hallway, Gwen is convinced she has lost and decides to go finish packing. Rebecca refuses to allow her child to give up! Gwen says she can’t compete with a woman who has risked her life twice for Ethan. Rebecca wonders if her and Pilar’s babies were switched at the hospital, because Theresa is much more like her than Gwen is! Gwen refuses to scheme, so Rebecca says she will do it herself. Rebecca screams, and falls to the floor! Fortunately it doesn’t disrupt Ethan and Theresa. Rebecca wants Gwen to tell Ethan that her mother is having a heart attack, but Gwen refuses. Gwen says she just wants to move on with her life and begin to feel better about herself. Rebecca says she refuses to allow her daughter to move to New York, it is a horrible place. Gwen tells her mom that she loves New York, the theater and the shopping are incredible! Rebecca suggests she move to Chicago, and then begins thinking about all the men in Chicago and goes on some sexual mind-trip. Gwen tells her mom to stop this! Rebecca says going to New York will be a mistake, and she says none of the girls on Sex in the City are happy! Rebecca continues to spy on Theresa and Ethan, and Gwen suddenly becomes very dizzy and ill. Rebecca thinks Gwen is scheming and wants to go get Ethan. Gwen, however, isn’t faking and falls to the floor!
Meanwhile, Antonio finds all his loved ones at the mansion and asks what is going on? Luis says they have something to tell him. Sheridan ends up nearly fainting at the thought of Antonio learning the truth, but she doesn’t. After making sure she is okay, Antonio asks Luis to tell him what he needs to tell him. Antonio becomes nervous and asks what this is about. Pilar tells him to remain calm and be strong. Antonio asks why they all look so depressed, what is going on? Luis says he wishes there was an easy way to say this. Antonio tells him to just spit it out, but then he realizes what this is about. He thinks Dr. Russell is here because she told them all the results of his latest tests. Sheridan wants to know what he learned? Antonio says he isn’t going to be living as long as he thought. Eve tries to tell him that she hasn’t told them, but Antonio says it is okay, he doesn’t mind that she told them. Sheridan and Pilar question Eve, and she confirms what Antonio said, he doesn’t have much time left. Antonio then makes a speech about how much Sheridan’s love means to him, and how lucky he is to have her in his life. Antonio tells everyone else in the room that he loves them all, and it is great to have friends and family like them. Much to Liz’s disgust, Antonio praises Eve. He also tells Liz that she is the best friend he could ask for. He says he knows somewhere out there is her soulmate, because he found his with Sheridan. He then apologizes to Pilar for running out on the family years ago, and how he wishes he could turn back time. He also apologizes to Beth for ruining her life by leaving and putting the family responsibility on Luis. Antonio tells Luis that he will make everything up to him, and if he can’t do it on earth, he’ll do it wherever he ends up. Meanwhile, TC realizes how much Liz loves Antonio, and they talk about it. Liz says a hurt she suffered years ago prevented her from finding happiness in her life, and she says the hurt was inflicted by the horrible woman who lives in Harmony. Elsewhere, Beth’s mom tells her no matter what, she won’t have Luis, because even if they don’t tell him the truth, Antonio will drop dead soon! Beth tells her mom to zip it or she will shut her mouth! Suddenly, Antonio has another pain when he wants to go find out what is wrong with Sheridan, who suddenly ran out of the room. Luis followed her, and he tells her that they have to go in there and tell Antonio the truth!
Elsewhere, Pilar talks to Luis and tries to change his mind about this, but Luis says the truth must be told. He says he doesn’t want to hurt his brother, but he thinks Antonio is strong enough to bare this burden. Later, Beth also warns Luis that telling Antonio the truth is a mistake! Beth says he can’t lay this on Antonio when he just learned he is going to die any day now. Luis says it will hurt him, but it will hurt more to learn that they lied.
As Ethan is about to tell Theresa who he will ask to marry him, Rebecca realizes Gwen isn’t faking and something is wrong with her. Rebecca decides to use this to stop Ethan from proposing to Theresa, but Theresa tells her mother no! Rebecca decides to disregard what Gwen wants and stop Ethan. Ethan is busy telling Theresa what companionate and caring human being she is, what a great mother she is, and how much love she has to offer. Ethan tells Theresa that he believes she has changed and understands the toll the smallest lies can take on a relationship. Theresa says she has, and Ethan says he’s looked deep into his heart and he knows he has made the right decision. Suddenly, Sheridan bursts in and begs Ethan to help her! Sheridan tells Ethan what is going on, and Theresa tells her that she knows better than anyone what lies and secrets do to people. Theresa tells her that she must be honest. Theresa says she has to be with her brothers and leaves. Sheridan hopes she didn’t barge in on something important. Ethan says he was just going to propose to Theresa, that’s all. Sheridan says she thought he was going to marry Gwen? Ethan says he has thought it over, and while he cares about Gwen, Theresa makes his heart . . . . . Sheridan butts in and says “do flip flops?” They talk, and Sheridan wishes him well, but tells him that he’s going to have to let Gwen know he’s planning to marry Theresa, and he owes it to her to tell her before he proposes to Theresa.
Meanwhile, Rebecca confronts Theresa and throws water on her and calls her a tramp! She says she will never let her walk down the isle with Gwen’s man, and she wants to settle this now. Theresa says she can’t force Ethan to marry Gwen when it is her that he loves. Rebecca says Ethan doesn’t love her, but Theresa says Ethan does love her and will propose to her tonight! Rebecca tries to attack Theresa, but Pilar pulls her off of Theresa and sends her running. Theresa asks about Antonio, and Pilar tells her what is going on. Theresa ends up giving her mom some good news, Ethan is going to propose to her, they will be together after all.
Rebecca returns to her daughter, and she tells Gwen that she knows what she has to do. Gwen wishes someone would put her out of her misery, and she says she feels so sick she might as well be dead.
Elsewhere, Theresa tells Pilar that they should pray for Antonio, but Pilar thinks that God is tired of hearing her prayers and granting miracles to her family. Pilar thinks that after hearing Eve’s news that it is God’s plan to take Antonio sooner than they expected, but she cannot accept that plan. Ethan shows up, and he tells Theresa that he needs to tell Gwen his decision before he asks her the question. She understands and says it is only right. Theresa and Pilar go check on the baby, and Theresa takes him for a walk. Sheridan ends up asking Pilar for advice as she thinks of her as a second mother. Sheridan says she wants to marry him, but she can’t under the circumstances. She feels like her entire future has been tainted. She doesn’t know how she can break one son’s heart to be with the other.
Meanwhile, Rebecca continues to console her daughter. Gwen is still sick, and ends up passing out. Gwen comes too, and Rebecca thinks the stress is getting to her and blames Theresa for this. Gwen says she has to just be stronger and move on with her life without Ethan. Gwen continues to pack, but Rebecca says she needs to rest. Ethan shows up and asks to speak with Gwen, but she refuses to answer the door. Rebecca says she will answer if Gwen doesn’t. Gwen tells Ethan to give her a minute, and she hides the suitcases so he doesn’t know what she is doing. Rebecca lets Gwen in, and he says he needs to talk to her about something important. Rebecca waits outside while Ethan prepares to break up with Gwen. Gwen tells him that she knows why he is here, she knows he is going to let her down and then propose to Theresa. Gwen gets a business call and sends him out of the room. Rebecca returns, and Gwen has another sick spell.
In another part of the mansion, Beth tries to convince Luis not to do this, but Luis says he is going to tell Antonio the truth. Beth says Antonio only has a little time left, but Luis says the truth could still come out. Luis goes upstairs to get Sheridan and tell Antonio the truth. She says it is only right, and everyone goes to prepare to tell Antonio the truth.
In the living room, everyone sympathizes with Liz’ over her story. She says that Liz is here right now, so they ask Liz who her sister is? Liz says she can’t take it anymore and runs out. Antonio tries to go after her, but Eve says he cannot upset himself any more. Antonio asks Eve if she is Liz’ sister? TC says his wife is nothing like that heartless monster Liz just described! Eve tells them not to argue, she will go check on Liz. Eve goes after Liz and tells her that her torturing her the way she is makes her just as heartless as she claims she is. Eve tells Liz that she is the one without a soul. Liz tells Eve that she is still the same miserable sister she was years ago, and she will make sure everyone knows the kind of woman she really is! Eve says she was young, stupid and impressionable, but she never set out to hurt her. Eve tries to convince Liz to think positive and move on, but Liz says the only thing that will help her sleep better is to pay her back! Liz tells her that TC will be upset by the truth, but he will not leave her! Liz says TC will dump her because he has some deep anger buried inside of her because he will feel the same way she does when he finds out the one person he trusted lied to him. They overhear TC going off on Antonio about his assumption, and Liz knows she is right. They here TC say that they will clear this up when Eve and Liz return. Liz tells Eve that it is time to face the music, and drags Eve back into the living room. Liz apologizes for running out, and TC tells Eve that Antonio thinks she is Liz’ sister so would she please set him straight. Eve doesn’t know what to say, so Liz asks why they would think Eve was her sister? Antonio says it was because she said her sister was here. Liz says she meant her sister was here in Harmony. Antonio apologizes, and Liz says she is going to torture her until she begs to be put out of her misery! Mrs. Wallace sees how they are talking, and she knows something is going on between them. Eve tells Liz that she shouldn’t wait too long to drop the bomb, because it only gives her more time to stop her! Liz says Eve can’t tell them herself, because it will be like cutting her own throat. Liz says she will tell them everything, even “that.” She says everything will come out, all of the nasty business will come out! Liz is asked what her sister’s name is, and she says maybe she should tell them. Suddenly, Eve is pages by Rebecca who says Gwen is terribly ill! Eve has to go upstairs and check on Gwen. TC feels bad for Liz and decides to comfort her.
Ethan becomes worried when he sees Eve go check on Gwen. He asks what is wrong, and Rebecca tells him that Gwen is dying and he is the only one who can save her! Meanwhile, Luis and Sheridan walk in the room and prepare to tell Antonio the truth!
