Sam drives Ivy home, and on the way they talk about Kay’s problems. Ivy ingratiates herself with Sam by sympathizing with Kay. She tells Sam how much she appreciates him doing this for her. He says she wouldn’t be in that wheel chair if it weren’t for her trying to help him and his family. They remember when Ivy was hit by lightening trying to help him save his kids.
At the Bennet’s, Grace calls Sam and asks him to come home ASAP because Kay is insisting on leaving. She wonders where Sam is, and who or what could keep him away from his family for so long. John and David show up and learn what is going on. They tell Kay that she can’t leave in this storm. Kay can’t stand this hypocrisy, and ends up calling John her mom’s supposed child. Grace asks her what she means by that? Kay says she’ll find out one day! Kay says she is leaving, but Grace refuses to allow Kay to leave. Kay ends up pushing Grace, who falls to the ground! Everyone is shocked and takes care of Grace. As they are preoccupied with Grace, Kay slips out! Grace flips, and the others assure her that they will find Kay. They begin searching for Kay, but the snow is so bad they can’t see much. They end up going in to get warm, and Sam walks in carrying Ivy. Grace asks him what on earth he is doing? Sam explains what happened, and Grace is furious. She tells Sam that their daughter is out in that snowstorm somewhere! Meanwhile, out in the storm, Kay panics when she doesn’t know where she will go. She ends up tripping, and falling down, knocking herself out.
At the hospital, Antonio’s family watches the tape of him giving them instructions. Antonio says this tape is about something he has known for awhile now. The family wonders if Antonio knew about Luis and Sheridan. Antonio says if they are watching this then he is no longer able to make decisions, so it is up to Sheridan to make decisions for him. He asks his family to be there for Sheridan right now. Sheridan, feeling guilty, begs them to stop the tape because she can’t watch it anymore. Eve says they must watch the rest of it because it is important. Antonio tells them about an experimental drug that can only be used in the last stages of his illness. He says the drug could save him, kill him, or leave him a vegetable for life! Antonio says Sheridan will have a tough decision to make. Pilar says there is no decision, the drug must be given to Antonio. Luis and Miguel think they need to think about this. Meanwhile, Beth continues to put doubts in Sheridan’s mind and tells her that she will rip this family apart if she doesn’t give Antonio the drug. Eve continues playing the tape, on which Antonio tells Sheridan that he’d rather not live to be a vegetable and tie her to him for the rest of her life. However, he says some selfish part of him would like to live and have her with him always, but he loves her too much to ask this of her. HE hopes she will be able to make the right decision. He begs Sheridan to be strong and not allow Eve to give him the drug and to let him die. Pilar screams out “No!” Antonio says he wants Sheridan to be able to live her life, and find someone else to love. Pilar and Miguel want him to have the drug, but Sheridan doesn’t know what to do. Pilar asks her what she means she doesn’t know? Luis says Antonio doesn’t want the drug, but Pilar wants him to have it. Eve says it is Sheridan’s decision as his spouse. Pilar begs Sheridan to allow Antonio to have the drug. Luis says this drug could cost Sheridan her life if it save Antonio’s. Pilar says Sheridan married Antonio for better or worse, and she wants her son to live no matter the price! Pilar tells Sheridan that if she gives Antonio the drug, and it doesn’t work, then she will take care of Antonio and allow her and Luis to be together. Luis hates having his mother put such pressure on Sheridan. Pilar asks Luis if he would be able to let his brother die? Luis says he would. Pilar ends up slapping Luis!
Ethan continues to go on and on about Theresa’s actions tonight. Ethan says he didn’t realize how far his mother pushed Ivy. Gwen says whatever Ivy said does not justify what Theresa did tonight. Gwen says Theresa is a holy terror, and she has not only hurt him and Ivy, but she has hurt Sam and Grace’s marriage. Gwen tells Ethan to just stop making excuses for Theresa because what she did tonight is unconscionable. Ethan says she is right, and Theresa is not the person he thought she was. Ethan and Gwen end up reconnecting, and the two make love.
Out in the snow, Kay lies on the ground bleeding from her head. Kay cries for help and says she can’t move. Kay ends up hearing sirens in the background, it is cops looking for her. The cops see something, and they hope they aren’t too late.
At the Bennett’s, Grace tells Sam that while he was rescuing his old girlfriend, their daughter ran out into the snowstorm alone! Grace says she tried everything she could, but their daughter needed him! She says he made things worse by lying about where he went tonight! Grace tells Sam that if anything happens to Kay then she will hold him responsible! Sam calls the police station and they fax over a photo of Kay. Meanwhile, Grace lets Ivy know that if anything happens to Kay because Sam was out rescuing her then she will regret it as well! Grace tells Ivy that her acts don’t fool her for one minute! Sam decides to go search for Kay, and David offers to help and show him where they already looked. Sam says no thanks and that this is a family matter. Grace blast Sam for not accepting David’s help, and she thinks he is more concerned with Ivy not spending the night in the snow than Kay. Ethan ends up calling to talk to Ivy, and he thinks maybe he should come get her if the argument in the background is about her. She says no, Grace is making her feel right at home, so she will be fine. As Sam and Grace continue to argue, Ivy tells David that Kay did them a favor by running away. David asks her if she ever thought that Kay could die out there? Meanwhile, Charity has a premonition of Kay lying in the snow bleeding. John and Jessica think Charity should tell the parents. David and Sam eventually work things out, and plan on looking for Kay together. Before they leave, Charity tells Sam, Grace, and the others about her premonition of Kay in blood. She says she then saw the phone rang, and what he was told made them all upset. Suddenly the phone rings, and Sam answers it. Sam says two of his men found a dead girl in the snow!
At the hospital, Pilar slaps Luis after he says he would let Antonio die. She tells Luis that she has never been more disappointed in him, someone who would risk his life to save a stranger but won’t lift a finger to help Sheridan. Luis says she doesn’t understand, but Pilar says she does. Pilar knows Luis wants Antonio dead and they all know why! Meanwhile, Beth tells Sheridan that this is all her fault! Beth thinks she has put enough doubts in Sheridan’s head that she will never want to be with Luis. Elsewhere, Pilar apologizes to Luis for hitting him. Luis says he doesn’t want to give Antonio the drug out of respect of his own wishes. Luis says Antonio wouldn’t want to be a burden on any of them. Eve tells them that they must make their decision on what to do now. Pilar begs Sheridan to give Antonio the drug and save his life. Luis says this isn’t fair to Sheridan, but Pilar says Sheridan is Antonio’s wife and it is her duty to take care of him in sickness and in health. Luis says it isn’t fair to doom Antonio to a vegetative life just because science can save him. Pilar says maybe one day a cure can be found. Luis tells Pilar that she is putting Sheridan in the worst possible position! Pilar says she won’t listen to this anymore, and she tells Sheridan that she made a commitment to Antonio. Pilar asks if she is so unhappy that she would hasten Antonio’s death? Pilar tells her that in matters of life and death one should always choose life! Eve tells Sheridan that if she gives Antonio the drugs she needs to be there for him. Eve says Antonio believed that if he lived, he would be able to sense her nearby. Sheridan wonders what she should do.
In Theresa’s room, Theresa continues talking to Fox. She feels bad for Sam and Grace now that Ivy is living there. Fox says Ivy is probably still shell-shocked from the heave-ho, but Theresa knows Ivy is probably already plotting. Theresa says she wanted to hurt Ivy, but she might have given her what she wanted! Fox says she might be right, tossing her out could work to her advantage. Fox says Ivy would get happiness breaking up another marriage. Theresa says Grace really isn’t married to Sam, and she explains about her amnesia and her marriage to David. They begin discussing love, and Theresa tells him how she and Ethan share an eternal love like Grace and Sam. Fox says the only problem is that Ethan married Gwen. Theresa says that is just for now, true love takes many paths. Theresa says she loves Ethan and he still loves her. They return to talking about Ivy, and Fox tells her that her tossing Ivy out has cost her an incredible price. Fox says she has lost Ethan, he will never forgive her for this.
At the Bennett’s, the news of a dead girl found in the snow devastates the family. Grace says it can’t be true, and Sam says nothing has been confirmed yet. Charity blames herself for this and thinks she has killed her cousin. They tell her that this is not her fault, Kay made her own choices tonight. Grace says she should have tried harder, and Sam says he should have been here for his family. Sam says if that dead girl is Kay, then his daughter’s death is on his hands. David tells Ivy this is where scheming gets one. Ivy says she didn’t like Kay, but she didn’t want to see her dead. Ivy tells Sam that she will help in any way she can. This causes Grace to blow up, and she tells Sam that if Kay is dead it is his fault! Ivy tells David that this is it! She says the death of Kay will drive a wedge between Sam and Grace forever! Grace tells Sam that if he was here none of this would have happened! Another call comes in, and Sam is told that the girl isn’t Kay. Everyone is relieved, and Grace wants to apologize to Sam. Sam tells her that they should just concentrate on finding Kay. The men decide to go out and search for Kay. The girls go to occupy themselves, and Ivy is left alone with Grace. Grace asks Ivy why she is here, what is the real reason she is here? Ivy says she was kicked out of the mansion and has no where to go. Grace says Theresa must have had her reasons, and she knows she is up to something regarding Sam. Grace tells Ivy that she had a premonition that she was trying to take her husband away from her. Grace warns Ivy that she will not let her take Sam away from her!
Meanwhile, a dead girl lays in the snow as sirens flash on her face. It appears that the woman is Kay! However, the girl, who is Kay, gets up! She sees the flashing lights and thinks there was an accident. Kay realizes she fell and has to get out of this storm or she will die. Somehow, no one sees Kay get up and walk away! She does leave her scarf behind. Kay, with a bloody face, walks through the park. Unfortunately she once again collapses! As she lies in the snow, Sam, David, and John search the park for her.
At the hospital, Eve asks Sheridan whether or not to give Antonio the drug. Beth watches and thinks all her plans are working out for her. Pilar asks Sheridan why is she hesitating to save Antonio? Sheridan says it isn’t that simple, but Pilar thinks it is. Eve says it isn’t, this decision could affect the rest of Sheridan’s life. Pilar thinks Sheridan shouldn’t be thinking about her life! She tells Sheridan that she married Antonio, and she can’t let him die so she could be with Luis. Sheridan says she would never do such a thing! Pilar thinks that means Sheridan has decided to give Antonio the drug. Sheridan says she hasn’t decided yet. She says she wants to honor Antonio’s wishes, and he didn’t make it clear what he wanted. Pilar says he did, he wanted to live as long as she was by his side. Luis says no, Antonio said he didn’t want to be a burden to Sheridan. Pilar says that is just Antonio being selfless, and now it is her turn to be selfless. Sheridan blows up and says this is her decision, and she tells them all to stop telling her what to do. Sheridna goes to Antonio and says she will do what is best for him, and she knows she will make the right decision. Sheridan says she needs time to think without being pressured and told what to do. Pilar says her son doesn’t have time! Pilar says Antonio was raised in the church, and it is a sin to give up on life and a life that can be saved. Pilar says she doesn’t care if Antonio is in a coma or incapacitated, he would be alive and they could find a cure some day, maybe as soon as tomorrow. Luis says that is a big if. Pilar says if Sheridan let Antonio die, and then they found a cure, how would she feel? Sheridan continues to think, and Antonio’s health continues to decline. Eve tells Sheridan that she is going to have to make a choice and she’s going to have to do it now! Everyone waits for Sheridan’s decision.
In Ethan’s room, Ethan talks to Ivy on the phone about Theresa. Ivy tells Ethan that she hopes he sees now that Theresa is a heartless bitch, but he says there is two sides to every argument. Ethan asks her if there is anything she needs, but she says Sam is taking good care of her. Later, Ethan and Gwen make love.
At the Bennett’s, Grace and Jessica make some sandwiches as they try to keep their minds off what is happening with Kay. Jessica asks her mom if she and dad are going to break up because of Kay and Ivy? Grace says no, Ivy will not break them up. Grace goes back out to see Ivy, who is popping pills for pain. Grace once again asks Ivy to tell her what she is doing here? Ivy says she thought Grace knew exactly what she was going here? Grace says it is no secret that she and Sam are having problems, but they will get through this. Grace lets Ivy know that she will never have Sam. Ivy points out that Grace is no longer married to Sam, and as for stealing her husband, she doesn’t want David! Ivy says she has no ulterior motive for being here; she did not want Theresa to kick her out of her home. Ivy then tells Grace that she is not keeping her from being with Sam, the gossip is that she kicked Sam out of her bed and he’s been sleeping on the couch for months! Ivy says the truth is her marriage ended long ago! Grace says her marriage is not over, and she still feels that someone close to her is trying to undermine her relationship with Sam. Ivy says perhaps that person is her; perhaps she is trying to get rid of Sam so she can be with David. Ivy accuses Grace of using her as a scapegoat so she can be with David! Grace says she is just twisting things around now. Ivy asks Grace if she has ever fantasized about David? Grace refuses to let Ivy stir up trouble for her, and she tells her that she lives up to her nickname “Poison Ivy” Grace warns ivy not to underestimate her.
At Tabaitha’s place, Tabitha asks the Dark Forces for her powers back. She tries to make her case, and says if they give her her powers back she will bring destruction like the world has never known. Tabitha hiccups, and a butterlfy comes out, and she wonders where that came from. She continues to hiccup butterflies, and the Dark Forces tell Tabitha to stop pestering them and take care of her unborn child. They tell her that she will get what she needs, and they are sending her a helper. She says she doesn’t want a helper, she is hoping Connie and Cecil never reappear. The Dark Forces assure her that she will be pleased with her new helper. Tabitha asks who this helper is? They say it is of no concern to her, and to take care of her baby because they have big plans for her evil spawn! Tabitha goes back upstairs and consults her book for a cure to the butterfly hiccups. She turns on the TV and watches what is going on elsewhere in Harmony. Tabitha returns to the book and looks for a cure. She finds a spell for butterfly hiccups, reads it, and it makes no sense but seems to work. However, it has a side affect, she begins to float! She looks for a spell for floating, and reads it, but it has no affect.
Out in the storm, Sam and the others search for Kay, and Sam doesn’t realize how close he is to Kay. Kay manages to pick herself back up, and walk off, and later Sam and the others find Kay’s scarf and some blood in the snow. Kay ends up making her way to Tabitha’s place, and sees Tabitha floating in the air! Kay realizes that Reese has always been right, Tabitha is a witch!
At the hospital, Pilar continues to beg Sheridan to save Antonio’s life. Meanwhile, Hank talks to Luis about what is going on. As he does, Beth and Beth’s mom spy on them. Beth continues to plot to get Luis after Sheridan is tied to Antonio the vegetable for life. Luis returns to Sheridan and finds Pilar pressuring her, and he tells his mom to stop this. Sheridan tells them all that this is her decision and her decision alone to make! Eve says she will prepare the cocktail while Sheridan makes up her mind, that way if she decides to give it to Antonio it will be ready. Sheridan goes off on her own to think. She sits with Antonio, and she asks him what she should do. Sheridan then goes to the chapel to pray. Pilar then lectures Luis on how terribly disappointed in him. Pilar knows Luis would allow Antonio to die if the decision was up to him, and she wonders if he wants what is best for Antonio or for himself? Luis asks Sheridan what he would do if Sheridan wasn’t in the picture? Pilar ends up running off in an emotional huff. Hank continues talking to Luis and how the guilt must be eating him and Sheridan away. He asks if Pilar and the rest of the family will be able to forgive Sheridan, and if Antonio dies, will they accept the two of them as a couple? Luis says he doesn’t care, if it came down to it he would leave his family for her. Luis says he just can’t live without Sheridan. Luis hopes that whatever Sheridan’s decision is that God is with her. In the chapel, Sheridan continues to pray for guidance.
