From NBC. Dustin is on Day one of his exams. They are going sloooooow
Lexie runs into Tony on his way out of the mansion and realizes that he plans to avenge Larry for all of his misdeeds against the DiMeras. Fearful, Lexie accompanies Tony to the hearing and begs him not to take the law into his own hands. Meanwhile, Victor insists that he and Nicole will attend the sentencing. Nicole just wants the nightmare to be over, but Victor assures that her nightmare is just beginning. Hope arrives with Jack and Jennifer, while Bo visits Larry in his cell. Roman and Abe have to pull Bo off when he tries to strangle Larry, who's glib at the thought of Hope never having peace of mind again. Hope freaks out when she comes face-to-face with Larry in the hearing room. Alice arrives after the hearing has begun and takes the stand to condemn Larry for what he did to Hope; Alice's words give Hope the strength and courage to also make a statement. Tony finally gets a moment alone with Larry and threatens that once he gets to prison, he's a dead man. It looks like Victor's plan may go up in smoke as Larry turns to the judge and announces that the deal is off...

Jennifer gets a call from Abby about a big surprise at home and she rushes out of the hearing room, leaving Jack to cover the sentencing. Later, Jennifer calls Jack, frazzled, and tells him to come home immediately; he hears a scream and then they're cut off. He zips home and is stunned to see that Bill has sent Abby a pet binturong. It's made a mess of the house and it's clear that Abby's new pet has to go. Jennifer tells Jack that the note from Bill said that they'd each be getting a gift from him as well...

Again from NBC. Day 2 of Dustin's exam. The hardest part should be over by the end of today!

The judge calls a recess and Victor asks Bo for a moment alone with Larry. Victor meets with Larry and learns of Tony's threat, realizing his plan has a kink and he may have to sacrifice his wife. Victor pulls Tony aside and demands Tony to rescind his death threat, but Tony refuses. Marlena arrives at the hearing and begs Tony to do the right thing when she learns what's going on. She is able to convince him when she implores him to be a positive role model for Cassie and Rex. With Lexie's help, Tony gets Abe to send Larry a message that it's his lucky day. Larry returns to the hearing room and goes ahead with his guilty plea. Hope is freaked when Larry asks the judge for possibility of parole, but the judge denies, giving Larry two consecutive life sentences. As Larry is dragged off, Hope hugs Bo in relief...

Belle and Mimi are about to go visit Chloe when Rex and Cassie show up; Belle is suspicious that Cassie is following her. They all enter and interrupt Brady and Chloe talking about the baby. Brady pulls Belle aside and assumes things are going well with the twins, but Belle isn't so sure. Brady suggests Belle ignore Cassie, but she feels bad because Cassie is family. Craig enters to check on Chloe and is impressed with Rex's knowledge of the transplant procedure. As Belle explains Larry's sentencing and how she faced death, Chloe chimes in that she knows all too well what it's like facing death. Chloe mention the St. Luke's carnival and convinces them all to go; she encourages Brady to go too, but he decides to surprise Chloe with a private carnival of her own. Chloe balks at throwing darts at balloons while Brady holds them, but she finally does and almost hits him in the groin. She jokes that it's to prevent him from messing around with anyone else, but she seriously tells Brady that she wouldn't blame him if he didn't want to wait. He promises to wait for her forever...

At the carnival, Belle is less than thrilled to be there without Shawn, who's sick back at the dorm. Mimi keeps Cassie and Rex distracted and lures Rex to the kissing booth, but Cassie intercepts at the last minute. A nun asks Mimi to volunteer in the dunk tank and Rex nails the target with his first throw. Mimi's surprised when Rex is waiting for her with a towel and he warms her up by pulling her into a kiss. Cassie realizes Belle, Rex, and Mimi have gone their separate ways and cheers herself up by volunteering in the kissing booth. Meanwhile, Belle calls Shawn to make sure he knows how much she missed being with him at the carnival and wishes him luck at the game tomorrow...
