Lexie goes to the hospital to pick up the paternity test results. Brandon confronts Lexie, who says the baby is Abe’s and she is here to pick up the tests to prove it. Brandon asks why she’s having the test if she’s so convinced? Lexie says it is to give him the proof he needs! Lexie gets the test results and reads them. She believes the doctored results, which say nothing is wrong with the baby, and that it is Abe’s.
Meanwhile, Collin blackmails Sami into helping him with his plans. She refuses to talk about this right now, but he warns her that her future is in his hands. Sami goes to see Brandon and asks what is bothering him. Brandon says Abe is threatening him to stay away from Lexie, but he won’t scare him of if Lexie’s . . . Sami asks Brandon to tell her what he has to tell her. Brandon claims he’s just worried about Lexie. Sami says they should concentrate on one another instead of Lexie, and she tells him that she has a Christmas present for him that will curl his toes. Brandon has to take off, and Collin shows up and tells Sami that as long as she remembers she owes him then her secret is safe. Sami decides she has to get some dirt on Collin.
Brandon goes to see Lexie, and she tells him that the baby is Abe’s. She gives him the tests so he can see for himself. She asks him if he is satisfied? Brandon looks upset, and Lexie tells him not to be so down, this would have complicated both of their lives. Lexie says she is free to be with Abe now, and nothing can stand in there way. She leaves, and Brandon says “wanna bet!” Later, Sami asks Brandon to spend part of Christmas day with her and her family. He says he will.
Chloe and Craig sit by Nancy’s bed. She is unconscious. Craig tells her that it is Christmas Eve, and he begs her to come back to them for Christmas. Craig goes to the chapel to pray, and Brady shows up to be there for Chloe. He knows she didn’t want him here, but he says he had to be here. He suggests they join Craig in the chapel and pray. They do just that, and Brady says a prayer for Nancy as well as one for Chloe. She thanks him, and he tells her that she has to say one as well. Chloe says a prayer for Nancy and the baby.
At Victor and Nicole’s place, Nicole realizes she finally has everything she’s ever wanted, but still feels empty inside. Audrey, the wedding planner, shows up to meet with Nicole about her wedding. Audrey shows her what she has, but it’s not good enough for Nicole. Victor overhears Nicole tell the woman to get her the best or get out! She says she wants the best wedding Salem has ever seen! Victor shows up and says money is no option. Audrey says she will be back with only the best and leaves. Victor tells her that she was a little rough on her. Nicole is unhappy with Victor and asks if he is going to tell her how to act their whole married life? Suddenly, Collin calls Nicole and tells her to meet him at the hospital now, or there will be no wedding in her future. Nicole tells Victor that she has to run out quickly, but Victor thinks it can wait. Nicole says it has to do with the wedding, so it can’t wait. Nicole leaves, and heads to the hospital.
Back at the hospital, Collin blackmails Nicole. He shows her the video he made of her and him making love. She asks him why he is doing this? Collin says he wants her five million dollars! He says she has forty hours to pay, or Victor will receive the tape.
At Dot.com, Mimi asks Belle how last night was? Belle says it never happened because the sprinklers went off. Belle then says she doesn’t know what she would do without Shawn, if he left her, then her life would be over. Mimi is glad Belle has Shawn for Christmas, and she tells her that Kevin isn’t coming home for Christmas. However, she says something may be happening between her and Rex! Meanwhile, Phillip tells his boss that he has to leave, and he’s sorry it is such short notice. Belle sees Phillip and asks him what is wrong? Phillip says he’s had it, he’s finished. She asks him what he means? Phillip says he’s made a decision, and he’s going to be leaving. They ask if he’s going to Columbia, but he says no. He says he never wanted to go there, he only decided to go to be near Chloe. He says he has other plans, and takes off. Phillip leaves, and realizes what he needs to do.
Kate and Billie go to the station for Billie’s lie detector test. They meet with Abe and Roman, and Billie says it is time to see if she is telling the truth or not. Hope and Bo show up, and Hope says they know the answer to that. Abe tells Hope that she knows a polygraph can’t work in a tense environment, so she will have to wait outside. The ISA agent administering the test gets started. Hope wants to go into the room, but Bo grabs her to stop her. She has flashbacks of being hurt by Larry, and she tells Bo to let go of her! Bo calms her down, and she says she is sorry. Hope claims that the waiting is just getting to her. Billie eventually comes out and says she passed the test with flying colors. Hope says it can’t be right, she knows she helped Larry kidnap her and her son! Bo tries to calm Hope down and tells her to calm down. Abe and Roman warns Billie to stay away from Hope, but Billie says it is Hope who is harassing her. Victor gives Kate a call and tells her that she has to come to the mansion, Phillip wants to meet the both of them. Billie also leaves, and Abe tells Roman that Shane has verified Billie’s story with evidence. Roman says Billie won’t face charges and will probably get her badge back. Hope knows Billie will keep trying to get rid of her until she succeeds.
At the mansion, Phillip meets with his parents. He tells his dad and mom that he has enlisted in the Marines.
The Hortons meet up at the Horton house to hang ornaments. Doug, Julie, Bo, Hope, Jack, Jen, and Lucas have gathered, as have Will, Abby, and Zack. Will, with his big mouth, tells Zack that there is no such Santa. The grownups come to the defense of Santa. Belle and Shawn show up, and the hanging of the ornaments begins. Shawn hangs an ornament for both himself and JT. Hope hangs Zack’s ornament. Alice hangs her and Tom’s ornaments.
At the penthouse, John and Marlena spend Christmas together. John still isn’t accepting Tony as his half-brother, and he doesn’t want to think about Stefano as his father. He wonders if this is why he is so filled with hate. Marlena tells him that he is a loving man, and she suggests they head over to Shawn and Caroline’s. Suddenly, Tony shows up and says he comes with gifts. Tony has the painting brought in, which is wrapped. He asks Marlena to open it, and she is shocked to see the painting of herself. She soon begins hearing the ocean as she falls into a trance. John wonders what Tony is up to. Tony says is not his father, and he does not know why his father had this portrait painted, but he thought Marlena should have it. John says they don’t want it, but Marlena accepts this gift because she says to not do so would be rude. Tony wishes them a merry Christmas, and says goodbye. Marlena tells John that she kept the painting because the thought of Tony having it and looking at it gave her the creeps. John says it is a beautiful portrait. John gives Marlena a kiss, and then they head to the pub.
Back at the mansion, Tony and the twins celebrate Christmas. The twins give Tony a picture of themselves as a thank you to him for giving them a home. Bart shows up and Tony gives him a card and a holiday bonus. Bart says Stefano never gave him anything, and he is touched. Bart thanks Tony, and then tells him that Rolfe wants to see him. Tony meets with Rolfe, and shows him what he got himself for Christmas. He reveals the real painting of Marlena, and he says Marlena doesn’t know that he gave her a copy.
Nicole heads home and says Collin is stupid to blackmail her because he will kill Collin, but she realizes her life is screwed as well. In the mansion, Phillip tells his parents that he’s joined the marines. Kate asks how he could do this because he is throwing away his future! Victor thinks this is about proving something to Chloe, but Phillip says it isn’t. He says this is about him, and this is something that his father can’t get him out of! Phillip tears out of the mansion, and Kate leaves as well. Nicole comes in and Victor asks where in the hell she was? She says she was shopping, and she asks what is wrong? HE says Phillip enlisted in the marines! Nicole tries to cheer Victor up and suggests they open presents, but he tells her to stop it!
At the pub, the Brady’s gather to celebrate. Bo, Hope, Zack, Shawn, and Belle head there after the Horton’s, and Phillip shows up to see Belle and Shawn. Shawn and Caroline propose a toast to Bo and Hope for their anniversary, and then John and MArlena arrive. Bo says they were getting worried about them. John tells Bo that they need to talk, it is about Tony DiMera. However, Marlena tells John that this is not only Christmas Eve, but Bo and Hope’s anniversary, so they shouldn’t spend it talking about Tony DiMera. Hope agrees, and as Marlena and Hope hug their men, Bo and John exchange worried glances.
At the hospital, Craig tells Chloe and Brady that a miracle has occurred. Nancy’s blood pressure is almost back to normal. Nancy eventually comes to and asks what is happening. Chloe says it is Christmas Eve, and she wishes her mom a Merry Christmas. Dr. Bader says she will try and have Nancy home for Christmas, but she can’t make any promises. Craig wants some time alone with Nancy, so he suggests Chloe and Brady go spend some time together. After they leave, Craig gives Nancy the results of Chloe’s paternity test. He watches her monitor slowly to make sure it doesn’t upset her too much. She thinks the paternity test is for the baby she is carrying, and she gets upset. He tells her that this is about Chloe. He tells Nancy that Chloe is his daughter. Nancy is stunned to say the least.
Chloe and Brady buy a tree and go to Chloe’s place to decorate it. They also decorate the house, and they hand a stocking for Chloe’s baby sister. They also use Brady’s decorations, and the angel that belonged to his mom. They then exchange gifts. Brady gives her a card and an “I owe you” for a trip to LA. Chloe gives Brady a snow globe of a mountain cabin, and she tells Brady that she knows her mom and baby sister will be okay, and she is alive and with him. They tell one another that they love the other, and then they kiss.
At Jack and Jen’s, Abby is happy that she has her mom and dad with her on Christmas morning. At the Carver house, Lexie and Abe celebrate Christmas together. Abe gives Lexie her gift.
Bo, Shawn, and Hope celebrate Zack’s first Christmas as a Brady. Belle shows up to see Shawn, and they kiss. As Hope is cleaning up paper and ribbons she has another flashback to Larry tying her up. Bo asks what is wrong, and she says nothing. Shawn goes into the kitchen with Belle to give her a kiss, and a card. Meanwhile, Bo gives Hope a necklace, and he says there is more to come! Mimi shows up, and she tells Shawn and Belle that she just got an odd call from Phillip asking them to meet him at the mansion.
Back at the hospital, Mickey and Maggie, dressed as Santa and Mrs. Claus, arrive and meet up with Roman, Caroline, and Shawn. Mickey has laryngitis, and Roman says he was supposed to read the Christmas story. Jack, Jen, and Abby show up for the story, and Collin asks Jen if he can talk to her. She tells him not right now. Nancy, Craig, Chloe, and Brady are getting ready to leave and run into the Hortons and BRadys who have assembled. Alice asks Chloe to read the Christmas story this year, and she agrees. Chloe then reads the Christmas story from the bible to the kids at the hospital. Later, Collin tells Jen that he is leaving for Ireland, but needs to meet with her before he leaves. She agrees, and later when Jack and Jen return home, she tells Jack that she won’t risk her life in any way. He is glad, and gives her a hug, which Abby sees.
At the Kiriakis mansion, Kate shows up and asks Victors if he talked Phillip out of his insane plan to join the marines? Phillip shows up and says nothing that they can say can stop them, and he is leaving today. Victor and Kate talk to Phillip, and Victor tells him that he is proud of him and his decision is a brave and noble one. Lucas and Billie show up, and the wonder why everyone is saying goodbye to Phillip. Phillip tells Billie and Lucas about his choice, and how dad is okay with it but mom isn’t. The kids show up, and they agree with Kate and think Phillip has made a crazy choice. Phillip asks his dad to watch over mom for him while he’s gone. Chloe and Brady show up later, Belle called them, and Chloe asks to speak with Phillip alone to say goodbye. She hopes he isn’t doing this because things didn’t work out, and he says no. He says this is what he has to do, and he knows things will work out for her. Chloe gives Phillip the necklace he gave her of their tree. She wants him to keep it until he comes home and can give it back to her. Chloe and Phillip, in tears, hug one another.
The Brady’s head to the pub, where Abe shows up to give Zack some gifts. Lexie has not come, but she has sent a gift. Lexie is outside, and sees Hope reject her gift for Zack. Hope heads outside to see Lexie, and she tells Lexie to go inside and give Zack the gift herself. Lexie is touched by Hope’s kindness. Lexie makes a speech to everyone thanking them all for their forgiveness and acceptance, especially Hope and Abe. She says it is a dream come true for her. She then tells them that she is pregnant. Everyone is thrilled, and they toast to Lexie’s new baby, and the baby born in Bethlehem.
Elsewhere, Shawn and Belle talk about their big night, which Shawn has planned for New Years Eve at the Salem Inn.
Roman goes to see Kate, who is still upset about Phillip’s choice. Roman, however, is impressed. He says he is a gutsy young man, and he will come back a real man. Kate just feels like everyone is leaving her and doesn’t need her anymore. Roman says he is not leaving, and he still needs her. He then gives her a passionate kiss.
At Jack and Jen’s, Jen gives Jack a present. Jen says she got him something too. Jack and Jen open their gifts. Jack gave Jen a Santa Claus holding a pen and paper (a list). She is stunned, and tells Jack to open his. Jen got him a Mrs. Claus! Jack ends up telling Jen that everything about her has become a part of him, and he suggests they begin again. Jack and Jen then flashback to their pasts. We see a flashback of Jack coming down Jen’s chimney dressed as Santa and then him proposing to her. Jack and Jen put Abby to bed, and then they end up arguing about Collin and the DiMeras. Jen says she has to do this for their family. She also says this is about them as well, and they continue to have flashbacks of Christmas pasts. Then end up in a passionate kiss, and Jack picks Jen up to take her to bed. However, they end up being caught by Abby, who wants to know why her dad is carrying her mom? Jen claims she stubbed her toe, and daddy was carrying her upstairs. Abby is confused and says she just wanted a glass of water. Jack and Jen put Abby to bed, and she asks them to stay with her until she falls asleep, so they do. Jack watches both his girls sleep, and he tells them that he loves them.
Collin, at his hotel room, looks at a photo of Jen. He wonders why he ever let Jennifer get away, and he vows not to make that mistake again. He says he will have her and he won’t let her go. Collin begins to fantasize about making love to Jen. He continues looking at a picture of him and Jen and thinks about his new life with Jen in the new year.
At Bo and Hope’s, Zack has gone to sleep, and Shawn and Belle have taken off for a drive. Bo gives Hope her big present, which he says is himself. He promises to continue to love her with his entire being for the rest of his life. He also has one more thing, the music box with their song playing in it. Bo and Hope flashback to when Bo gave Hope the music box, and they dance to the song, and then kiss. Suddenly, Hope sees Larry watching them and she freaks out. She says he is out there! Bo goes to look outside, but no one is out there. Bo asks her who she thought she saw? Hope claims she thought she saw Collin outside, and it must have just been a neighbor looking at their lights. Hope and Bo end up snuggling in front of the fireplace, and soon begin taking off one another’s clothes. They then head upstairs to make love.
At the Horton Cabin, Larry fixes dinner and proposes a toast to the Horton Family for letting him use their vacation home for the holidays. He then awaits his gift, Bo’s death. He then dreams about kidnapping Hope again and telling her that cousin Collin has killed Bo.
At the Salem Inn, Roman runs into Kate and wants to question her about Raymond Grant. Kate realizes he is not going to back off until she confesses, so she says she killed Raymond. Roman knows she didn’t kill Raymond, and he asks her if she knows anyone Raymond might have been meeting with that day? Kate says she doesn’t know. Kate sees Victor and Nicole, and Roman knows she is worried about something. Kate says Victor and Nicole are out to destroy her. Sami ends up showing up and is furious with Kate for telling her father that they are both in trouble from Victor. Sami says she doesn’t want her dad involved, but Roman is glad Kate told him. He wants to talk about this, but Sami says she has to meet someone and takes off. Suddenly, Tony calls Kate and demands a meeting. Kate rushes out on Roman to meet Tony, which leaves Roman puzzled. He refuses to let Victor and Nicole hurt Sami and the woman he . . . .
Also at the inn, Nicole has a cashiers check for five million to give to Collin. As she is about to call Collin, she is caught by Victor. She tries to hid the check from him. She asks why he is here? He says a business meeting, and he wants to know why she is here? Nicole says she came back here to try and confront her nightmares about the shooting. She feels they are coming between them, and he believes her and says her trying to work through this is a positive thing. Nicole then suggests they go check out the honeymoon sweet. They go upstairs, and Nicole asks Victor to draw her a bath. When he goes to the bathroom, Nicole schemes to hide the check from Victor somewhere in the room. While Nicole is in the bath, Victor finds the check Nicole hid from him. He wonders what Nicole is up to.
Sami bursts into the mansion and begs Tony to silence Collin Murphy. Tony thinks Sami wants him to kill Collin for her, but she says no, she just wants him kept quiet. Tony wonders what Sami did that Collin found out about. Tony wants to know what Collin has on her, but she says that isn’t important. Tony refuses to help Sami anymore, and tells her to get out. Sami leaves, and Tony is furious with Collin for not having his priorities straight.
Jack shows up at Jen’s place, as does Collin. Collin spies on them through the window and sees Jack tell Jen that he loves her, and the two of them kiss! Collin is furious, and storms off. Back inside, Jen tells Jack that she loves him too, and she wishes they could focus on one another and not deal with Collin. Jack and Jen remember a meeting that have thismorning, and Jen realizes Abby isn’t even away! Jack tells her to go to the meeting, and he’ll take care of Abby. Jen leaves, and Jack stays behind. Collin goes back to his car and says he doesn’t need this now, Jen was supposed to be the one person he could count on. He realizes he’ll never have Jen as long as Jack is around. Collin grabs his gun and loads it! He says it is time to be rid of Jack! Jen shows up and sees Collin sitting in his car. Tony calls Collin and orders him to meet him as planned. Collin is furious, and Jen overhears him threaten to kill Jack! Collin takes off in his car to meet with Tony. Jen realizes that Collin must have seen her with Jack and is planning on killing him.
Sami goes to Dot.Com looking for Brandon, but he isn’t there. She runs into Jack there, he is there for his meeting with Jen and some other guy. They talk, and Jack tells Sami that he and Jen will be back together very soon. Sami thinks Jack shouldn’t get his hopes up because she has seen Jen with Collin, and she doubts she is dumping him anytime soon. The man who is supposed to meet with Jack and Jen shows up, and he has to reschedule when Jen doesn’t show up.
Collin goes to his room at the inn and Tony is already waiting for him. As they argue, Jen shows up and spies on them. Tony tells Collin to forget about Jennifer Horton. Collin refuses, and he says Jen belongs with him and he will make sure Jack dies. Tony refuses to allow Collin to compromise their operation, and he orders Collin to forget about Deveraux. Tony wants to know if Collin has found Larry or Grants killer, but Collin says he has nothing for him. Tony tells Collin that his silly infatuation for Jen is getting in the way, and he better get his act together. Tony takes off, and Jen realizes she has to tell the police about Collin’s plan. She might not have time though, as Collin plans to kill Jack immediately! Jen tries to sneak off, but is caught by Collin. She claims she was coming to see him. Collin tells Jen that he saw her earlier with Jack, but Jen claims she doesn’t want Jack, she wants him. She then grabs him and kisses him.
Kate meets with Tony, and he also questions her about Raymond Grant and the money his father left her. She asks him what he wants from her. Tony tells her to tell him why his father took such good care of her. Kate says she has nothing to hide, and walks out on Tony.
