A good friend is often the best cure for anything. Be it a broken heart or a bad grade, our friends have the ability to make us realize that it’s not as bad as it seems. That the guy we’ve been crying over isn’t worth our tears. That the girl we’ve been wearing ourselves out over at the gym isn’t worth our pained body. That, no matter how bad the grade was, it’s not the end of the world, even if we never get to college. We will always have our friends. No matter what we do, or how we do it, our friends will stick by us and help us get through it. A good friend will never leave us to our own devises. They’re that annoying voice that always reminds us of the right thing to do. Our conscience may have always been there, whispering what was right, but we always hear it more in the voice of a friend. They know everything about us, the good and the bad, but they still don’t leave us. Often, we realize that our soul mate has been with us all along, disguised as our best friend.
