July 18th: The Last Week

Almost...finished...

Must...keep...going...

I find my butt severely dragging now that we're in the last week.  Six weeks is a long time...maybe too long.  I've got 1,100 words on "Joshua's Second", but I'm still not into the story.  I feel detached from the material, so at this point I'm thinking about working on something else.  There's no huge pressure to turn in another story, but I'd like to do another before I leave.

Last week, Lister brought up the possibility of a Clarion 2000 anthology, a collection of some of the stories produced here along with articles on writing by some of the instructors.  Apparently, we're moving ahead with the idea.  It should be interesting to see what happens with it.

We're having pizza later, and I've got stories to critique and a story to work on, so I'll see you in the next entry...
