| Saving an IncrediMail Letter to Use as Outllook Stationery. EMail Tut By Alska Du (C) 2/12/2004 I used Outlook before using IncrediMail and here is how I saved IncrediMail Letters as Outlook Stationery. I even saved Outlook Stationery the same way! 1.) Right click on your desktop and select new, then folder. Name it "Stats" or whatever name you'd like to call it. Then.... 2.) Once you see an IM letter come through and you want to save it to use in Outlook, click the forward buttom....As if you were going to forward to it. 3.) Delet everything in the "To", "Cc" and the "Bcc" fields. Also delet anything in the subject line. 4.) Then delet all the text, tags, blinkies that others have added to the letter itself. LEAVE THE CREDITS ALONE, don't delet them, or any other part of the letter! 5. Go to: "File" at the top of your Outlook, then click "save as". 6.) Give it a name and choose ".MSG" Outlook or ".EML" Outlook Express and save it to the folder you created on your desktop. And that's it! When you want to use letters saved this way, go into your folder on your desktop and click on whichever one you want to use...And that's all! What I did was create a folder on my desktop naming it "Stats" than created sub folders inside of it "Adult", "Goth", "Cutesy"...etc. Even when I created my own Stationery for Outlook I saved a blank eMail before sending them out to be share, If you are a letter creator feel free to link to this page in your letter credits. But do not post it elsewhere, or copy it for your website. |
