Gaucho

Em 1993 viemos morar em Brasília, cidade com casas de grandes espaços e amplos  jardins, e na primeira semana compramos um filhotinho de dogue alemão, de cor "merlan" e com lindos olhos azuis.  Tinha apenas 45 dias e na realidade foi ele quem nos escolheu. De minha infância recordava que minha família tinha em sua fazenda um enorme macho da raça Dogue Alemão arlequim, chamado Teddy, que na realidade era minha verdadeira e doce companhia durante minhas férias.  Desde então sempre amei os dogues alemães e em Brasília tive a oportunidade de ter um Desde o princípio ele brincava com meus três filhos, Rosário com 6 anos, Nícolas com 3 e  a pequena Maria de los Angeles, de apenas 1 ano e meio.  Todos concordamos que o seu nome deveria ser GAUCHO e foi assim que o chamamos. Ele nos demonstrou todo  seu amor, carinho e dedicação para com a família.  Também nos defendeu de  tentativas de roubo e sempre fez parte da família, compartilhando em todo momento de nossas alegrias e tristezas Até que com apenas um ano e meio de idade, este GIGANTE AMOROSO, um dia não estando bem, foi levado ao  veterinário e após diversos exames, decidiu-se operá-lo, pois estava com uum terrível tumor.

Esta noite, antes de ser operado, foi sua última noite em casa.  Parecia  que ele sabia o que iria ocorrer. Entrou em casa, foi em todos os quartos, se despedindo de seus amigos de tantas brincadeiras e dormiu ao lado de minha cama. 

No dia seguinte, ao ser aberto, os veterinários constataram que o cancer havia tomado todos os seus órgãos e nunca mais regressou a nossa. casa.  Em seu túmulo, prometi em agradecimento a este GIGANTE, criar Dogue Alemão, fazendo o melhor por esta raça e demonstrando as qualidade do

Nosso canil, de arlequins e pretos  leva o nome de BLAUE  KAMPFER, que quer dizer GUERREIROS AZUIS, em homenagem ao nosso querido GAUCHO, que até o último momento lutou por sua vida com seus lindos olhos azuis.

E no ano de 1997, fui convidada a continuar com a criação do renomado canil brasileiro RODNEY KING, onde os seus anteriores proprietários, Sr. Wagner Rodrigues e Sr. Armando Calegari, se haviam ocupado,durante 10 anos, com grande êxito,   dedicação e mérito, em ter exemplares de insuperável qualidade.  Por um lado me senti muito orgulhosa por  ter sido eleita para continuar com esta fantástica criação.  Por  outro, senti a grande responsabilidade de manter este nível de criação e melhorá-lo ainda mais.

Segui com os RODNEY KING os mesmos critérios que utilizei na criação dos arlequins/pretos, obtendo resultados maravilhosos. Estudando os pedigrees e linhas de sangue, estrutura dos cães e genética.Acho que estamos conseguindo.  Desde 1994 estamos incorporando excelentes exemplares de canis de vários países, como Alemanha, Holanda, Argentina, Estados Unidos e Brasil.

Temos obtido resultados fantásticos com os cães e filhotes de nossa criação, tanto nas esposiçõesa de beleza quanto na criação.  Nosso lema é:

Ainda  hoje a foto de GAUCHO está entre todos os troféus e fotos de nossos campeões.  Ele sempre foi e será   um CAMPEÃO. E SUA MEMÓRIA CONTINUA EM NOSSOS CORAÇÕES

Quero agradecer ao meu marido, Alejandro e aos meus três filhos, que sempre e em todos os momentos, me acompanham neste desafio, com tanto AMOR e UNIÃO familiar, formando uma maravilhosa equipe.

Agradeços também aos criadores, que em diferentes oportunidades, me venderam exemplares, depositado em mim, sua confiança e amizade.

We settled down in Brasilia in 1993. Brasília is a city with large houses and gardens, and at the first week of our arrival we bought a merle great dane puppy with beautiful blue eyes.  He was only 45 days old and in fact he was the one who chose us.  In my childhood I remembered that my family had at their country house an enormous harlequin great dane male calle Teddy, who was realy my true and sweet companion during my holiday.   Since then I always love great danes and Brasilia gave me this oportunity to have one.

From the beggining he played with my three children, Rosario with 6 years, Nicolas with 3 and the youngest Maria de los Angeles, with only 1 year and a half old.  Everybody agreed that his name should be GAUCHO.   He showed us all his love, greetings, dedications with our family.  He also defended us from several robbery attempts and he always was a member of our family, shering at every moment our happines and sad moments. 

With only a year and a half old, this LOVELY GIANT, one days wasn't feeling good, so we took him to our vet and after several exams, it was decided to go under surgery, because he had a terrible tumor.

That night, before going to surgery, was in fact his last night with us.  It was like he knew what was going on. He entered at home, visited to all our rooms, said goodbye to all his friends of so many games and he slept near our bed.

At the following day, when he was opened at the surgery, the vets realized that the cancer had taken all his vital organs, so he  never went back home.  At the foot of his graveyard, I promissed to this GIANT, in honor at his friendship, to bred Great Danes, making the best for this breed and showing the virtues of the GREAT DANE - THE DOG'S APOLO.

Our harlequin/black great dane's kennel carries the name of BLAUE KAMPFER, which means BLUE WARRIOR, in honor of our beloved GAUCHO, who until his last moments he fought for his life with his nice blue eyes.

In 1997, I was invited to follow with the breeding of fawn great danes from the well known brazilian RODNEY KING KENNEL, where the formers owners, Wagner Rodrigues and Armando Callegari spent nearly 10 years with great success, dedication and merit, obtaining produts of superb quality. I felt a great responsability to mantain this breeding level and try to improve it even more.

I followed with the Rodney King the same criteria that I used with my harlequins breeding program, that gave me wonderfull results.  Studing and learning about pedigrees, blood lines, dogs structure and genetics. I think that we are in the right directrion.  Since 1994 we are introcuding excellen dogs from kennels from several countries, to improve our existing blood lines, such us from Germany, Holland, Argentina, United States and Brazil

We have had fantastic results and achivements with our dogs and puppies at beauty dog's show  as well in breeding programs.  Our words are: WITH THE EXPERIENCE OF THE PAST,    BREEDING FOR THE FUTURE                              WITH GREAT  LOVE AND  DEDICATION Today GAUCHO's picture is among our trofees and pictures of our champions.  He always would be a CHAMPION and his memory is still in our harts. I will like to thank my husband Alejandro and my three children, who always and at every moment they share this challenge, with all their love and family union, making a wonderful team. I thank also the breeders, that in different ocasions, they sold me dogs, trusting me and given me all their friendship. Finally, I must thank all GREAT DANE's breeders for their work in improving the breeding and showing this WONDERFUL BREED - THE DOG'S APOLO.
