Silent came to us by way of suggestion from a great friend and trusted veterinarian Dr. Terri Van Wambeke. Silent was owned by one of Terri's clients Arlene McKay of ZW Ranch. Terri knew of our desire to add not only the paint color to our breeding program, but also the requirement of having definate sport horse potential. Terri, a long time breeder of Sport Horses herself saw the potential in Silent and encouraged us to aquire him. Thank you Terri for the suggestion and thank you Arlene for the opportunity to have such an amazing stallion!!
Silent will mature 16.3-17hands.He is a minimal white Overo. He is by ZW Skip to the Top, and the grandson of Sonnys Top Gun.
In 2007 Silent will be bred to our AQHA mare, Foxy's Fistfull, aka Rose, who has amazing bloodlines herself. She is by The Foxy Duke, and her dam is a Sucha Fistfull daughter. Rose, never got very tall, wich is the only thing that kept her from showing in the AQHA halter shows, however she always throws tall, athletic foals. We hope Silent will add even more height, as well as a splash of color to Rose's foal.
We will also begin his under saddle career in English events. Look for us at the SAHJA shows!
