BIG NEWS - Yahoo jas finally listed a date for closing geocities. It's Oct. 26,2009. I have had my web site here since I first started it. Those who have bookmarked www.heislerscreativestitchery.com should have no problem with getting to wherever I end up moving my sites to, but if you have bookmarked a geocities link it won't work when they close down geocities. I'll keep you informed of what I plan on doing. I have quite a few sites here at geocities for the store, pictures of my dolls, and psp results. That's going to be a lot of work moving everything!
Look for my flower ladies pattern in the July 2009 issue of Doll Crafter & Costuming magazine. I have nothing like them in any of my other doll patterns.
I'm getting ready to reopen the ebay store. New graphics have been made but right now I'm dealing with my Mom in the hospital so I'm going to wait until she's back home. Next will come the new graphics I've designed for here. I thought if I'm going to move it why not make it look new, too.
Another big change is that there is no longer a printable orderform. I explain why at the top of the page and on the How to Order Page.

I also opened a store/booth at Bonanzle. They call the stores booths. Interesting new site where you'll find many kind of things for sale.

I've opened a store at etsy. This is a great site to buy handmade items and supplies.
Please don't be cranky about the links I've added. They are for things I like and support. If nothing else, please go over to the free rice site. Learn new words and help buy rice for the world's starving people. Another site I like but will just put a text link here is whip up . You can find easy to make crafts and a forum there. It's a fun site.
I finally started a blog so I can post pictures of patterns I'm working on and keep you all in the loop in what's going on with me and the business. Here's the link: My Blog
I no longer make bears from real fur. The fur affects my allergies so I've had to stop. I've tried wearing masks but it doesn't help when the fur gets all over the place. I will still work with fake fur and other fabrics. I am making tiny crocheted bears. I put up a page of them in the handmade dolls and bears section.

One last favorite site is My Wycked Ways. I know it sounds a bit naughty but it's a great site to buy supplies to make fairy wings and sculpt dolls. I'm a big fan of her wings and plan on using them in a future pattern!
