The Poems of Billy Misael

Billy left the earth, due to lymphatic cancer, on July 11, 2002.

He never made it to his 15^th birthday.

His poems and stories serve as a reminder

that boys feel and they love.

There was never any hate in his heart. Loads of disillusionment and

pain that is reflected in his writing. He had a wonderful sense of humor

and was full of compassion for others. The other thing you should know about Billy was that he was a gay teen. That is why I am so sensitive to the issues of gay and lesbian teenagers and adults. The world has enough hate. It is time we accept each other with love and no judgment and love our children as they are; not as we wish them to be.

read his writing.
