CyGNOME = Cygwin + GNOME

The Cygwin GNOME project is started to port the GNOME desktop to Windows OS, using Cygwin as a porting tool and user environment.

Currently GNOME 1.4 almost done. GNOME 2.0 will be started in a few days(or weeks?).

Migration path:- MS-Windows > MS-Win/Cygwin > GNU/Linux

Porting

In fact, the work porting GNOME 1.4 to Cygwin is performed by Steven O'Brien. {steven.obrien2@ntlworld.com}

He gave out patches and hints at

Application: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/steven.obrien2/apps.html
News: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/steven.obrien2/news.html

All that I (Yang Guilong) do is just build them, package them and upload them here.
