Updates to visitors
A new veteran's stories page has been established. Here veterans, civilians and anyone else can contribute to the history of Lincoln AFB by offering a few words and old memories they'd like to see posted up on the site.

We've also posted a discussion on the benefits of an aviation museum located at the former Lincoln Air Force Base/Air Park along with some new photos of different areas of the base in January 2008
Looks a lot different now...Bowling Lake renovation continues. The lake has been dredged deeply and its geography no longer reflects Air Force days. The restoration should bring better fishing access to local citizens along with eventually a healthier fishing ecosystem.

Reunion Information
As the mighty B-47 lifts one last time into the haze of a Nebraskan afternoon, as the Atlas stands its last alert within the prairies and as the men and women of Lincoln Air Force Base close their doors for the last time, some believed that it was the end of Lincoln AFB and would its tale would be lost to the depths of time, but no longer.

This page is dedicated to the airmen of Lincoln Air Force Base, the soldiers of the 6th Missile Battalion/43rd Artillery and the entire population who expereinced the Cold War first hand.

The Stories Of A Triumphant time of American History  Will Not Be Forgotten and Will Live On
