Youkoso!
Welcome!
Welcome to the Big Heap O' Knowledge. Um, okay, so at the moment the heap is not so big. Hey, I'm workin' on it! I have some other stuff on this site, but I'm too lazy to do more with it, so for now it shall be almost entirely dedicated to the new Japanese study group we're starting up at Auburn High School. Yay!
Lofty Mission Goals
(Since it's just not good enough these days for any organization, no matter how insignficant, to not have a hideously cliche Lofty Mission Goal.)

Our mission here at Big Heap O' Knowledge's Japanese Study Group Section is to provide you with a big heap o' knowledge about the new Japanese study group. Nothing more. Maybe a little less, if we're busy or something. Hey, it's a free service, it's not like you're getting less than what you've paid for.

This site is designed and run by yours truly, Laura Johnson. Any suggestions, comments, or requests for information can be directed to supermagicmuffin@hotmail.com. I can also be reached at 826-9573, but I'd really prefer it if you emailed me. (And if you don't know the area code, you can't have it. Hah.) Oh, and I have MSN IM under the previously stated email address, and AIM under supermagicmuffin.
Announcements
Sunday, December 7
In a sudden break with tradition, we shall now be meeting
every Monday instead of every other Wednesday. Hopefully this will be less confusing for everyone ("Is this an Anime Society week or a study group week?" "Uh, I dunno...") and more people will be able to come, since some folks mentioned that they couldn't come on Wednesdays but Mondays would be fine. Best of all, when we miss one session, there'll only be two weeks between one meeting and the next, instead of an entire month. And maybe we'll actually be able to get something done for a change, like learn how to read kana or something. Yay!

Remember, if you want some particular topic any given week, just ask. Otherwise you are completely subject to whatever strikes my fancy Sunday night.

If you have dictionaries, grammar books, or any other fun educational aids you're willing to share, you don't need to tell me about them - just bring them, and let people know if you're willing to loan them out
.
