Sad news by way of Kathy Feather: It has come with great sadness that another one of our precious stars has dimmed. Frank Rowan passed away on Monday May 18. His funeral visitation and mass will be held on Friday May 22, 2009 at St. Francis of Assisi RC Church at 10:30 am. Please hold June and his family in you prayers. Some important dates that are coming up: **** Commodore's Reception: Saturday, May 23, 2009 Please note the mail you received had the incorrect dates for these events. I am hoping to have a forum set up soon so that members of all ages will have a place to go to "chat" with one another. Per an email from George Roma: "THE KILLORANS HAVE DONATED TWO KAYAKS FOR USE BY CLUB MEMBERS. ONE IS A TWO AND THE OTHER A ONE PERSON CRAFT. THESE WILL BE LABELED AS CLUB PROPERTY AND KEPT IN THE RACKS. AFTER USE PLEASE PUT THE PADDLES AND LIFE PRESERVERS AWAY IN THE SHED. WE ALL THANK THE KILLORANS FOR THEIR GENEROUS DONATION AND HOPE THAT CLUB MEMBERS CAN ENJOY THEIR USE FOR YEARS TO COME."
