A. 6:00 p.m. Meeting called to order with moment of silence and Serenity Prayer by Acting President Bill H.

C. Secretary’s Report:
1. Ellie T. motioned to accept minutes 3/02/03, Brian B. seconded, motioned accepted.
D. Treasurer’s Report:
Brian B. said that there’s $1,336.00 in the treasury. Ellie T.. motioned to accept, Linda M.. seconded, motion accepted.
Old Business: Turtle requests that we sell gourmet coffee for $1.50/2.00 a cup. Can get it for $6.00 a lb. To get it set up it would cost
$78.00 for coffee/pots/syrup for 64oz pot. Sell it in 12oz cup. Idea has been squelched because of no new information.
New business: Will have St. Pat’s dinner upstairs. We would like to start up a pool night, card night, movie night. It was suggested that we wave voting a new member in to replace Ted because elections are only a few months away; Brian B. said that he’d rather argue than, throughout the meeting he kept changing his mind, so we nicknamed him “Should I go or should I stay!” Send a letter to Rodney C. dismissing his seat on the board because he hasn’t attended a board meeting since December 1, 2002. It was suggested that Bob M. be put on the Club checking account and have Turtle put on. Everyone voted unanimously-yes-because they don’t want to do the shopping. Ellie motioned to accept, Linda M. 2nd. It was accepted.
Membership Chairperson Report Bill J. was absent so Renee gave report. Valentines dance had a profit of $65. Gary B. was also absent so there was no report on the status of the pool tournament.
Club Manager’s report: We need to get membership board put up on wall before next meeting. People are catching up with their dues when they can. If a member is causing a disturbance, the person working must have a total of three people, including him/herself, before calling police, unless person is a threat to anyone. Then call police. After that call the Club Manager. If he’s unavailable, call other board members.
Chairperson for annual membership meeting and election for officers dinner which is Linda M. says that she wants new board members to be elected by membership. There will be four new board members elected. Voting members must be dues paid up members. After dinner we will have annual board meeting, then we will have the election. Nominations will be closed 15 days before the election.
