My entry into the muscle car wars will be my big block '70 Dart.
A full roller aluminum headed 383 is already done for the project, and is coupled to a Viper T-56 6-speed transmission via a new QuickTime bellhousing.
A Mcleod dual 10.5" disc StreetTwin / hydraulic throw-out clutch set-up will handle the transfer of the almost 500 hp/torque thru the trans into the Denny's 3" driveshaft which ties the 1350 HD Spicer yokes together.
An HD Dana 60 rear differential equipped with 4.10 gears, which I built, is under the rear of the car! We relocated the springs inboard and mini-tubbed the car as well.
TTI 1 3/4" full-length under-chassis headers and dual 3" exhaust using 4 mufflers was installed by me also.
I recieved my AlterKtion custom k-member, and installed it along with the brakes! I went with Wilwood brakes with 4-piston aluminum Dynalite calipers front & back.
It's so nice working with high quality new parts that fit very well!
