  How we do custom rugs...                                            

You can choose a pattern from our wide collection, revise a design or create your own original design without leaving your home. The Best of Nepal tradition of quality and value is reflected in every rug creation. Made by our team of skilled craftsmen, your ideas can be translated into exciting and dramatic rug fashions through a vast array of colors and shapes. Our design team is ready to assist you with every detail.  

 

You can even request fiber and pile samples, obtain a Quick Quote and get progress report, and have the finished carpet shipped directly to you or your client. In addition, you can do all of this in a third of the time and at half the cost of conventional methods.

Our production process can be separated into three distinct phases outlined below:

Bid: Our production process begins with a bid on your design. It will give you an estimate of the cost to produce your rug and is meant to let you know if your design will fit your budget and allows you the opportunity to adapt your vision accordingly. Once you submit the order to us, we will look it over and contact you to discuss your project in person.  During this initial consultation we listen to your needs, and identify additional pieces of information we may need from you, such as color swatches so we can match your existing palette, or special construction techniques.  We also will advise you at this time of any additional charges you may incur by using our special Design Services.  Once having completed the initial consultation, we will begin working on part two of the production process.

Approval: We take your design and create a pattern for the proposed Rug.  You will also select fiber samples for each of the yarns colors in your design. We then send you the pattern and yarns for you to approve or make changes as needed (these can be sent by UPS/ DHL for an additional charge). Once you have approved the pattern and yarns, we recommend having a 1'x1' sample woven to see what the finished rug will look like.  These are useful for showing to a client and to avoid being dissatisfied with the finished result.  There is a nominal fee associated with these samples, which may be deducted from the cost of the finished carpet.  Before beginning the production process, we require a 30% deposit on the total invoice for the carpet, with the balance payable before shipment of the finished item.  Sign off on the back of the pattern, yarns, and sample and return them to us along with your deposit, to begin the third part of the process.  

Production: The production process begins by submitting the approved pattern and yarn sample to our production department. They, then begin the fabrication process, which normally takes 6-12 weeks to complete.  Depending on volume, however, we able to complete orders in less time, should you require.  You will be advised of the shipment date for the rug and it will be sent directly to your client unless otherwise specified.
