The Corrs origianate from Dundalk near Dublin in Ireland and began their music career at their homes. Jim used to be in a band before Andrea left school, and when she did leave, they called their family band Cosmic Egg.
As the oldest in the group, Jim, has had more experience in the music buisness and used to travel Europe along with his old friends' band.
When Andrea left school, she and the rest of the girls aurditioned for a part in the film "The Commitments". Andrea had a very tiny part to play. During the auditions, Andrea and the rest of the band met their now manager, John Hughes.
The Corrs had their first gig at a small Dublin bar called the Waterfront, where a crowd of 200 friends and family went to see them.
Since then, they have gone from strength to strength, have in Uk and Europien No.1 hits. Lets hope they continue to produce superb music. |

Rumours that the band will be splitting after Sharon Corr is wed to her fiance, are proved to be untrue. The Corrs are belived to be continuing with their tour of Australia after Sharon is married in June, and they will continue to release singles as a complete band |

After the huge success or the Corrs' number 1 hit single "Breathles" they have so far been unable to reach that target again with their latset single release "Give Me A Reason". The song is the third release of their "In Blue" album after "Breathless" and "Irresistable" |

THE CORRS TOUR |

The Corrs are still on their "In Blue" tour, if not in the UK. They will be performing concerts in Melbourne and the rest of Australia before they a due to come back to Ireland for Sharon's wedding in June.
More concerts are due after Sharon is married, and information can be found at the link above. Unfortunatly, we have no idea when the next UK concert dates will be. |
