Jodie Hutchinson, Mezzo-Soprano
Jodie Hutchinson is currently working on her Bachelor's Degrees from Bowling Green State University in Vocal Performance and Choral Education.  She has been involved in several productions, including Cavalli's Gli Amore d'Apollo e di Daphne, Strauss' Die Fledermaus, and Puccini's Suor Angelica. She has been involved in numerous choral ensembles at BGSU, including the University Women's Chorus, University Choral Society, A Cappella Choir, and Collegiate Chorale. In the summer of 2003 she toured with the University Choral Society and the Prague Symphony Orchestra to The Czech Republic, Austria, and Germany, where they performed works by Samuel Barber and Dave Brubeck.  She also met Mr. Dave Brubeck while performing in two concerts that honored his music. She has studied voice with Ellen Scholl, Andreas Poulimenos, Dr. Barbara Lockard-Zimmerman, and is currently studying with Dr. Jane Schoonmaker-Rodgers.  She has performed on many recitals and has given her own, and hopes to give another recital this summer.  She hopes to become a high school choral instructor, where she can share the joy of music with another generation.
