Our main
objective is to raise funds for the school to enable
it to purchase items and equipment for the benefit
and use of the students in general. The PTFA
(formerly known as the BEDIANS), is made up of a
committee, which organise events and fund-raising
activities. Then in consultation with the staff and
governors, we decide exactly what the money raised
should be used on. These range from helping fund
events and activities during enrichment week,
purchasing much needed equipment. Other activities
include providing refreshments during Parent/Tutor
evenings, and providing bar facilities during quiz
nights and dances.
The PTFA is a Registered Charity, which has a formal
constitution and elected officers. We are also a
member of the National Confederation of Parent
Teachers Association. We meet about once a month in
term time and anyone is welcome to attend.
We would ask that everyone reading this to think
about how they can help the PTFA, either physical
help during events or by making donations.
If you would like to make a cash donation, or donate
gifts for use as prizes for the various fund-raising
activities, please contact the PTFA
