The Club

Ringcraft was established to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of the Bromsgrove and District Canine Society in 1995.

We meet at 8.00pm on Wednesday evenings at the All Saints Parish Hall, Bromsgrove, which is also the venue for the Society's shows.  We try to encourage the whole spectrum of the  showing community from novice to experienced exhibitors, giving support and advice to newcomers on all aspects from feeding to filling-in show entry forms, as well as ring procedure and etiquette.  We also encourage members to take part in local stewarding and judging seminars.  Junior Handlers are also made very welcome.

Our main ringcraft trainers are Di Morgan, Mike Peplow, Jackie Holland and Charlotte Mann, with back-up from society members who have vast experience of judging, some to championship status.

Our members have enjoyed great success in their various breeds, some making up Champions, gaining Junior Warrants, and many members qualifying their dogs for Crufts.

To give extra practice to members we hold Matches and also challenge other local Societies, which gives us some friendly rivalry and an excuse to enjoy the excellent refreshments served up by Mrs Betty Peplow and her helpers.

All Officers of Ringcraft have a place on the Canine Society's committee.  The Society was established in 1935 and, with the exception of the War years has held shows in Bromsgrove each year since. Currently 3 Limited shows are held each year, with special K.C. permission, and the Society is keen to maintain the tradition of the Limited Show in the Midlands.

The present Chairman of the Canine Society is Mr Jack Clarke, Treasurer Mr Mike Peplow and Secretary of both Canine Society and Ringcraft Mrs Di Morgan. All work closely with the other committee members and Ringcraft sub-committee.
