Operations Manager of full service hazardous and residual waste transportation 
and disposal company operating primarily in the northeastern United States. 
Based in Pittsburgh PA Hawk Logistics works directly with environmental 
contractors on special waste projects to locate optimal disposal sites and 
transportation options. Identify and negotiate contracts with treatment/diposal 
facilities. Relay optimal prices to customers and negotiate performance 
contracts. Direct contracts through to completion.

EASTERN ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES, Mt. Laurel NJ			1997-1999
Operations Manager of the Pittsburgh terminal for Summit Transport Group Inc. 
an asbestos and special waste transportation and disposal subsidiary of Eastern 
Environmental Services Inc. Conceived, designed, and implimented a select 
association of employees and third party companies to effectively create a 
turn-key profit center. Presented a complete business plan including budget 
and revenue projections to effectively capitalize on target market segments. 
Operated autonomously until all objections were realized. Worked on special 
projects and innovative problem solving for sales and customer service.  
Merged with Waste Management 1999.

UNITED WASTE SYSTEMS, Greenwich CT				1995-1997
Operations Manager of J.D.L. Leasing - Special Waste Handling Division of UWS 
Transport a subsidiary of United Waste Systems. Strategically modified business 
plan to incorporate a new company mission designed around Kelly Run Sanitation 
landfill. Restructured and stadardized pricing based on service locations. 
Implimented specialty equipment to compliment existing peices in order to better 
accomodate the needs of core asbestos customers as well as lead-based paint 
projects and other residual and special waste customers. 
Merged with USA Waste Systems 1997.

J.D.L. LEASING, Zelienople PA					1992-1995
Operations Manager of a transportation and disposal company of residual and 
special wastes. Wrote and implimented an overall general business plan. 
Automated all company record keeping and reporting using selected computer 
hardware and programming. Collected and maintained data entry regarding A/R, 
A/P, invoicing, quoting, cash flow, and government compliance. Brought company 
into compliance and secured PA DEP Hazardous Waste Transpoter License.  
Sold to United Waste Systems 1995.

MEADOWBROOK TRANSPORTATION INC, Allison Park PA			1990-1992
Operations Manager of OTR transporter of asbestos waste. Worked directly with 
customers, management, and employees to sell and execute timely and profitable 
service contracts. Contacted customers directly, set pricing, quoted jobs, 
wrote contracts. Programmed computerized systems for cash flow, daily 
operations, paperwork, taxes and reporting. Developed customer data base. 
Other duties included compliance with all DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulations with 
regards to driver qualifications, permits, licenses, plates, maintenance 
records, inspections, packaging, safety education, training, medical reports, 
and insurance coverages. Developed contingency plans for cases of emergency.
