The Bayou Writers' Group is made up of writers (published and unpublished) with a wide variety of backgrounds. Various members write in every possible genre from women's romance to western to sci-fi to fantasy. Meetings vary from guest speakers covering popular writing topics to members reading and critiquing other's works.

2008 Meetings

Bayou Writers' Group meetings are held the FIRST Saturday of each month at:

Carnegie Library            411 Pujo Street            Lake Charles, Louisiana            10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Membership Fees - $20.00/year or $5.00 per meeting. (Guests are allowed to visit our group for (2) meetings before fees are assessed.)
