| BASCC Bay Area Senior Computer Club Coos Bay, Oregon |
| Our non-profit club encourages the use of and knowledge about computers among the senior population of our community, as well as the general public. We meet the first and third Fridays of each month at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church at 1290 Thompson Road in Coos Bay. There is a social hour at 9:30 a.m. with a meeting and presentation at 10:00. Anyone 50 years of age or older is eligible to join. Attend one meeting as a guest and try us out. Dues for 2009 are $15 per year for singles and $24 per year for families. We also offer classes in various areas of computer literacy. These are scheduled when enough people indicate a need and teachers are available. Click here to view information on BASCC classes as well as other classes offered in the area. BASCC maintains a list of volunteer "helpers" you may call when you have specific problems. We hope to continue learning and have a good time doing so. We have been an established club since 2000 and maintain a membership of about 100. Come to a meeting, contact a member of the Board of Directors, or e-mail the President at cbascc@gmail.com to learn more about our club. |
