An Herbalist is one who has studied the science and art of herbs to create positive changes physically, mentally, and spiritually. Herbs have been used since ancient times to promote wellness and healing. Their use is perhaps one of the oldest known forms of medicine. Many herbalists today combine their knowledge with other healing arts as part of a total wellness plan.
A Shamanic Practitioner is one who practices shamanism as a healing art. Shamanism involves "traveling " from ordinary reality to non ordinary reality by inducing a trance state via drum or other tool. This ancient art is still used today by indiginous peoples worldwide such as the Tuva of Siberia, the Australian Aborigines, and Native North and South Americans to name a few.
Power Animal Retrieval is a shamanic technique used to treat depression and chronic sickness. According to this ancient method, the "Power Animal "is said to have " "left " the person, thus causing the illness. The practitioner's task is to restore health and balance by bringing the Power Animal back from non-ordinary reality.
Soul Retrieval is a shamanic technique used to treat physical and emotional trauma due to shock from grief, addiction, depression, sexual, physical, and emotional abuse, or an accident. The ancients believed that whenever a person underwent trauma, one or more pieces of a person's vital essence or "soul ", has left the body, resulting in feelings of fear, emptiness, and lethargy. The practitioner's task is to retrieve and return the missing "soul parts", thereby restoring the person to wholeness. (For more on this method, read SoulRetrieval by Sandra Ingerman.)
Crystal Healing is when colored stones and crystals are placed on the corresponding colors of the seven main energy centers or Chakras of the body to balance the body, mind, and spirit and to restore wellness. The technique has been used for centuries in this country by several Native American tribes. |
