DUE TO PERSONAL ISSUES I HAVE BEEN AWAY FROM MY BLADESMITHING/BLACKSMITHING. HOPEFULLY IN THE NEAR FUTURE I WILL GET BACK INTO THE "SWING" OF THINGS!!
In the Spring/Summer of 2004, I started my adventure into the world of handcrafting knives. I have been fortunate enough to recieve a good deal of instruction from Karl Anderson of K.B.A. Knives and Master Damascus Smith Jerry Rados. Without their help, I would not be making the quality of knives I am today!
For my blades I use 5160 or 1084 and Jerry Rados' Damascus. I have and will make make my own Damascus of 1084/15N20. For my handles, I use a variety of materials including: Exotic Hardwoods, Micarta, Natural Antler and horn, and "DymondWood".
All my sheaths are handstitched and individually fitted for each knife and treated with a beeswax based waterproofer.
