Hi! I'm not here to tell you about myself, i'm here to tell you about a joke i pulled on my friend Rich today. It's so awe-inspiringly fantastic a just HAD to share it with you!

That's him, up there looking smug.

I can't remember where exactly, but i remember reading something about 'Toast In The Post' (might have been in a B3TA newsletter). I was bored so i decided to take it one step further.
Now, Rich is working night shifts all this week, and (me managing an'eaterie') i decided that what he needed was a good, hearty English breakfast!
But me and Rich have around 75 miles between where we live, so how can i get a breakfast to him?

In the Post, maybe?

so, idea implanted, i set about my oddly amusing task.

This was going to drive him mad.

I popped to the local stationers to pick up a jiffy bag, and then it came to me - what would be more irritating than a jiffy bag full of breakfast? The answer? Recieving each item of said breakfast seperately, of course!

So, addressed envelopes in hand, began my task.
I decided to go with bacon, eggs, hash browns, sausage, toast and beans. You know, the classics.
I'd cooked everything that morning, so by the time i had chance to get everything else done Rich's breakfast was nicely cooled down. Of course, my leaving it in the freezer may have attributed to that, but that's not important right now.
Now, this was all pretty straightforward until i came to the beans, which i had to wrap in clingfilm before i put them in the envelope.

I had paperwork to post anyways, and the distraction of the monster paperwork envelope i had seemed to divert the Post Office lady's attention from the suspicious odours eminating from my other packages. But man, they fucken stank!

Anyhoo everything went without a hitch, except each time i tried to take a photo of the envelopes being weighed i was given the evilest of looks. So i decided not to do that.

Anyway, i'll write here to let you know the outcome in the next few days, so check back soon!!                       Later!!
