3/16 We are still working on the other site. I've just been too busy to do much work on it, or help scott and david design it.... sorry. Fuck... fukc.. fuck the mother...fuck fuck fuck the cd is being mixed down this weekend and i'll be a shit if it doesn't kill anything we've ever recorded. It will shit some ass away....yeah, so what.. I said it. We had to cancel some shows.... sorry but we need money, gotta work.
2/14 Happy valentines day. WE ahd a little ordeal the last week, and fortunately for us we passed through it alright, despite the intentions of others, and everything will be back to normal asap. We may be adding a new backup guitarist to the band since I no longer play guitar on any of the songs. This will add to the sound hopefully and make us all the better. We don't know for sure if we will add on the extra member, but if we do, then we'll say so. David is suppsoed to be working on the new site.. so if it isn't up by monday someone throw a rock at his face.
2/03 I know, I know, I haven't updated anything in a long time.... So here's is what is happening. We have been very busy and entrenched by booking the tour this summer so we aren't going to be playing much in the next couple of months. Also, we have been working hard on finishing the new cd and getting it ready to press. We are scheduled to go into the studio on either the 20th of February or the first weekend in March, hopefully we can do both if we need to. We are all working as much as possible to finance the tour so we have little time to do stuff on the site. Hopefully David will take over the web maintanence and get the txoxans.com site back up. He switched survers and it went down.... don't know why. As of now the tour is over 1/3 confirmed and we are looking at playing something like 36 shows. Unit 21 will be coming with us on the tour. I'm too tired to type anymore, if you have a question or commetn just e-mail us. -carve hard.
11/13 Couple of Road shows coming up. We'll be taking a break from local shows to work on teh new Ep. Keep posted here, A few Eisenbergs shows will be in JAn and Feb, so go....
9/15 T-shirts are in, new buttons are here, and the new cd is still available, although we are amost 1/3 of the way through our original pressing, so get it while we have it. Some shows coming up where we have to whore around to sell tickets, which I hate doing, but they are at some clubs we have never played, so I will be a whore for .. 2 weeks... So please forgive us for nagging you to buy tickets, but we've gotta.
8/25 We are getting some new shirts pressed, new stickers and buttons, and myabe some patches in the near future. The new cds are now available on interpunk.com and in Dallas at AWOL off of main st. We are playing very few shows in the fall to work on new material and record the new Ep. Keep checking back for more details.
7/3 The new cd is online now at Interpunk. The show at rollerworld was cancelled due to scheduling problems. We play Houston on the 18th and then play a long weekend of shows the following week. After that we will be taking a short break to write, and work on our newest Ep.
6/8 A.N.S. first show was last night at GPX, and we were "disqualified" by the YMCA for singing "Chester" because it talks of child mollestation. It was a good show though. THE NEW CDS ARE HERE, we have to make the booklets and all, but the new cds will be selling this thursday at 1919 Hemphill in Ft. Worth.
5/21 Defaced is chaning our name. May 30th will be our last show under that name. After that we will be A.N.S. The simple reasonfor the name change is that there are other people bands out there with our name. To see what I mean, just go and search under our name on ubl.com or mp3.com, it is ridiculous. The new cd will still come out and we will still play the same songs, but many will now be retired. We are still the same guys, but with a different name. We are moving in a whole different direction now then we were when we started the group, so the name chnage seems logical. Thank you for all of your support.
5/7 Big news coming out soon. keep an eye out...
4/16 No show this weekend, but Youth Brigade is playing at the Gypsy Tea Room on Friday, so you may want to head out to see that. We will be having our new stickers, shirts, and patches at the DI show as well as a sampler/single from our new cd which has yet to be released. They will be selling for 2-3 bucks. really cheap for the amount of work that is going into it. Only 50 ever made, so grab your copy. DI the 25th!! Be there or be dead!
3/22 Thanks to everyone who came out to see blind society. We are playing a "punk day" of sorts on friday, march 28th at dreamworld. Come out to that. Alot of bands. April 25th with DI and the dickies! and its only 12 bucks! check back for more details.

3/09 Today we finally got a copy of the new cd. It is only a preliminary mix, until we get the final cut mid next week. Everything sounds really good, and i think it captures a good feel of the band. Blake did a great job, and we owe him for that. We are having some new stickers (2 different types) sent out to us from the compnay in Nevada, they should be here in about a month or 2. Austin from Armed Riot will be remaking our old black patches and pressing some shirts for us; atleast i hope. The cd art is amazing. It is really is. Gary Seevers is a legend. You will be blown away by it. And a special thanks to everyone who came out to the Rathole show 2 weeks ago. The band cd picture which we took during the show, turned out great, you can see in in the pics section, and chelsea did a great job. Thanks to everyone for pumping us up and keeping us going although it was so cold and dank.
